Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from Wells Fargo alerting me that a check deposited on XX/XX/XXXX into my account was " returned unpaid '' and the amount ( {$3600.00} ) was deducted from my checking account. I did not attempt to deposit a check on XX/XX/XXXX. Upon logging into my account online I noted that a withdrawal was also made on XX/XX/XXXX for the same amount ( {$3600.00} ). I did not withdraw money on this day either. The transaction detail indicated that the transactions were " in branch '' in XXXX XXXX NC. I live XXXX hours from this branch ( I live in XXXX VA ). I called customer service on XX/XX/XXXX and disputed this transaction and explained that I did not attempt to deposit a check for {$3600.00}, nor did I withdraw {$3600.00}. I also explained that I was not in NC on this day or any other day. I did not hear from Wells Fargo again. I continued to check the status of my complaint online and observed that the case was closed on XX/XX/XXXX. With no explanation or contact from the bank. I called customer service again and was told that the research team determined no fraud occurred. I requested elevation. Another complaint was opened on XX/XX/XXXX and that evening I received a call and was told that without a police report and investigation no further action would be taken. On Monday XX/XX/XXXX I went to my local Wells Fargo branch and spoke with a banker in person. They called on my behalf and were told the matter was closed and if I got a police report they would consider re-opening the case. When the banker asked what police department should be contacted ( local or in NC ) he was given unclear instructions. He asked that they call me as soon as possible to discuss. Later that day ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I again received a call from the same individual as the evening of XX/XX/XXXX and was told there was no loss and there would be no further consideration by Wells Fargo into my claim. I again explained there was a loss as I am out {$3600.00}. The fraudster walked out of the bank with {$3600.00} of my money. The individual said I have a problem with the withdraw, not the deposit. I would need to submit a new dispute for the withdrawal. When I asked if she could help me with that I was told to call the number on the back of my debit card and start over. She then hung up. I don't understand how someone can walk into a bank branch 5 hours away and steal my money without ID or authorization. Wells Fargo is not interested in investigating or resolving my claim.

Consumer Complaint: I was to receive remediation checks from Wells Fargo and they were sent to an old address I no longer reside at. I know they were sent because I saw many opened letters from them with the amount that was to be on the check calling them remediation checks but there was no check. My little brother that lives at the property carelessly went through my mail but never cashed any of the checks. I tried asking customer service if they can be resent but they said they cant help me because I dont have the old account number. That they cant look it up. I just want my checks re sent to current address. I have no idea what else I could do. I looked up unclaimed property through the ca.gov site and they didnt report it to them. I could give my information and the address the checks were sent to in a secured message .Please call or email me back with the next steps needed to claim my money please. - thank you

Consumer Complaint: I believe my house has appreciated enough to get my PMI removed from my mortgage. I called Wells Fargo home mortgage customer service and asked if I needed to go through a designated appraiser of theirs to get an appraisal on my house. The customer service rep said no. I then went and got an appraisal on my house. I called customer service again and asked about next steps now that I had an appraisal on my house. This customer service rep gave me an email to get in touch with the PMI team. When I reached out to the PMI team, it turns out they have designated appraisers and BPOs that you're supposed to work with when getting an appraisal, so the first customer service rep gave me completely wrong information, causing me to waste {$350.00} on an appraisal that could not be used. Also, both customer service reps were pressuring me to refinance, when I was clear that's not what I was calling for. Wells Fargo 's mistake caused me to waste money, and I am am extremely upset about this. Consumer Complaint: YOUR COMPLAINT This happens to be an ongoing issue that has been happening since XXXX almost 1 year now of being scammed and my credit card charged over {$6000.00} that this guy XXXX who claims he was a XXXX representative who scammed me out of {$6000.00} plus money from my credit card in which I refuse and will not pay because XXXX is what he told me his name was scammed me. I have been going back and forth with Wellsfargo about this and how this has affected my credit which my credit was High XXXX 's, now it has dropped to XXXX 's. I spoke with the Executive Office of Wellsfargo ( XXXX ), he opened up another claim for me in which I gave him a little more information. Once again I am not paying this amount that was charged on my phone in which this XXXX person had me download this app in which he entered my phone and was able to navigate through my bank informing. His initial attempt was to help me get {$500.00} back from someone that I was scammed from XXXX a month earlier, I was scammed 2 times within the same month {$500.00} and also this {$6000.00} plus which I am not paying that at all, I can not afford that why would I wire something somewhere I have no idea who these people are. I have texts from this person who did this to me telling him I hope you are not scamming me, all I want is my {$500.00} back ( Fake XXXX representative ). Who turned XXXX into over XXXX. Once again I will die oweing this money because I do not have XXXX to pay anyone PERIOD. I am not going to give up because I was Frauded and scammed and I am living from check to check. I can not afford to pay something that I did not authorize. Now the charges are up to {$10000.00} and some change from all of the late fees etc.that are occurring. Once again I will not pay this amount. At all. Wellsfargo in XXXX nj rather all banks should have sympathy for people that go through this. I will keep this ongoing because I am not paying and will not pay. XXXX whoever this person is his phone is still ringing and he is still answering the calls and probably is scamming more people. XXXX is his number. Do people really think that someone would say they was scammed just to say it. Not me I have attempted numerous times and I am not giving up at all until justice is served. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I reported fraudulent activity on my account, over 10 transactions were made in various amounts totaling over {$2000.00}. Since reporting this activity I have experienced numerous strange phone calls, messages, and emails from Wells Fargo concerning appointments made at branches located in other states where I do not reside in. These appointments were for account management activities that I did not request. I have received payment confirmation emails/booking emails for rental vehicles using my personal information, however, the name on the documents is not mine. My address, phone, etc information is mostly correct, clearly someone has obtained my personal information and has used it. I have spoken to Wells Fargo numerous times concerning this, each time I get what seems like a script message, no details on the status of my dispute, Ive spoken to several departments including the claims department and yet havent received any true results let alone felt like this is being handled properly. My account is currently overdrawn, no provisional credit has been issued, Im at a loss for what I should do next. Wells Fargo doesnt seem interested in the evidence I have collected on my end. Im shut out in the dark.

It said delivered, but when I checked it never here at my house, never in front of my door or unit. I live on the XXXX XXXX of the apartment. And there are so many apartment buildings. Proof of delivery did not show the door or Unit number of my apartment. No one sign for the delivery. Then the banker ( lady ) from Wellsfago called me and said : I see the letter XXXX on your door in the picture online and it matches the address, only one XXXX for the XXXX building, need to report to the police, you need to call and resolve with the carrier ( XXXX ), I cant do anything or help you. I told her that I already contacted XXXX and XXXX said to contact XXXX, then XXXX said to contact the merchant or my bank institutions. Now my bank ( Wellsfargo ) told me to contact XXXX or police. Once again, I never received anything and it never arrived at my apartments door.

XXXX loan modification photocopied documents and the original loan modification document, proof the manipulation and theft of our account. Shows the blatant fraudulent practices then. The repeated responses to our complaints saying numerous times that Wells Fargo can by law only access the last 7 years. Wells Fargo employees responding and blatantly lying and still defrauding us, 19 years! The XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX payment, result of Deferred Prosecution agreement in criminal matter, Settlement of civil claims and FIRREA and resolution of SEC proceedings, is an agreement Wells Fargo made, to compensate the consumer, us,! XXXX XXXX from this fine is exactly what Wells Fargo agreed to do! XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX for improper mortgage lending practices. This is yet another fine that the XXXX XXXX Im asking for can be paid from. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX for fake accounts, again another fine and violation the XXXX XXXX XXXX asking for! Every fine and violation stated can be used to compensate us the XXXX XXXX we are asking for. We have proven we have been the victims of the illegal practices and actions by Wells Fargo bank and mortgage companies for 20 years. We have proven the criminal actions and we are demanding compensation of XXXX XXXX dollars.

Consumer Complaint: There are multiple unauthorized wire transactions from both my savings account and checkings account early XXXX. I got to know this on XX/XX/XXXX calling the customer service line because my online banking stopped working. There was one transaction went through that with an amount over XXXX thousands dollars. I immediately asked the bank to file a claim but the bank asked me to be in a local branch to deal with it. I am overseas and could not make it so I write a XXXX of Attorney with detailed information asking my relative to represent me to file the claim. I got the POA notarized at the local United States XXXX. However, the bank reject the POA just saying insufficient verbage. There is no other appointment available at the XXXX XXXX in near term and I can not return to the states soon. I made multiple calls already and none of the bankers helped.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in addition to complaint # XXXX Wells Fargo sent me a check for {$35.00} for most recent multi-billion dollar settlement stating the check was for 1 or more overdraft fees. I filed a complaint with CFPB reference # XXXX. After complaint was filed a representative from Wells Fargo called to try and arbitrarily work out a settlement as I stated that their was a much more substantial amount illegally overdrafts from accounts. The representative stated she only showed 1 account for me even though I have been a customer since XXXX The representative was harsh and unfair towards the consumer and said she would give me time to try and locate additional accounts. Well I have located additional accounts as well as proof of enrollment in overdraft protection so as to not be charged enormous fees Wells Fargo did not uphold the contract and allowed for numerous overdraft fees as well as closing of both savings and deposit accounts in which the IRS as well as XXXX checks were being deposited. Wells Fargo Never transferred the funds from closed accounts as well as opened line of credits on my behalf without extending credits to the consumer. This is unjust discrimination against Native Americans and should be required to reimburse all funds plus interest dating back to XXXX for mishandling of consumer funds and fraudulent activity.
