Consumer Complaint: AllFollowing up with my previous complaints. I am reiterating the issues I have encountered with Wells Fargo since XXXX. Misleading Loan Advice In XXXX, as a twenty-something first-time home buyer with a credit score over XXXX, Wells Fargo advised me to take a balloon mortgage as a second mortgage. I did not understand what a balloon mortgage was and trusted their advice. They said I could refinance and roll the balloon mortgage into my primary mortgage in a couple of years. Every couple of years, I tried refinancing and they said I was unable to refinance. As time went on, they said they were not familiar with balloon mortgages and were unable to assist. Every time I called for help or visited a Wells Fargo office, they told me they were unfamiliar with balloon mortgages and then they started saying that they no longer offer them and were unable to help me. I even had onXXXX lady at an office say she did not have my phone number and that is why I was never contacted about refinancing ( my phone number was clearly listed on my account ). I recently learned that this loan type is SO risky, that Wells Fargo stopped issuing in XXXX with the Dodd-Frank Act. Loan Origination : XX/XX/XXXX Loan Amount : {$46000.00} Loan Interest : 9.25 % Maturity Date : XX/XX/XXXX Amount paid on this loan to date {$55000.00} Balance today : {$37000.00} Administrative Errors Administrative errors seem to be a common practice within Wells Fargo. I requested an amortization schedule ( TWICE ) in XXXX which showed my mortgage as a conventional loan. The first amortization schedule, they entered the wrong date for the simple interest loan and then they resent the amortization schedule with the correct date XX/XX/XXXX ( SEE ATTACHMENTS ). BOTH times they sent the amortization schedule as a simple interest loan! After a while, I noticed my balance was not going down like the amortization schedule showed and I contacted Wells Fargo to inquire. It was only then that they said that the amortization schedule was an error and they made a mistake ( AGAIN ). In XXXX, Wells Fargo sent me a check for {$270.00} to compensate for their multiple administrative errors. {$270.00} does not compensate for the multiple administrative errors Wells Fargo has made causing a damaging financial impact on my life.

Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX I got a money order in amount of XXXX to pay my rent to XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX both belonged to same bank. In a worn out state of XXXX back to back XXXX hour shifts in XXXX unit ; I filled out money order but without thinking turned around signed name on back. I gave to landlord I said if they don't accept I can meet you there. He said I'll just add your name to front ; that way both names both signed it says rent they know I have rentals. They wouldn't accept. They said I would have to cash or deposit give him the money because I signed as if mine. It was after banking hours and now rent 3 days late it was due, I paid a day or that day but after XXXX, do to double shifts. he went to bank and he didn't make it to give to me until next day, so I said I'll just deposit in ATM I can give you XXXX right away because I had some money in account and the electric wasn't due to withdrawal for 3 days so by then this money order would clear to cover difference and they allowed you access to XXXX out of deposit over XXXX. He said ok. This was at the same banks atm. The only banj that actually had access to atm because they got my card out for me when it ate it because I forgot it in there. Well they got me with overdraft fees bounced check for electric put hold for fraud on account and would not return my money order nor give me a copy of it so I could call money order company tell them and get it replaced because I lost receipt. Without receipt or id number from money order there was nothing company could do. I lost XXXX had XXXX in fees couldn't pay electric because froze account. I then had to come up with another XXXX. I was month behind on all my bills because of this and never able to catch up. I had to break lease due payment plan with cable electric and phone and gas after I left and got judgement against me for being month behind and breaking lease which was XXXX. It affected my credit and ability to get another bank account for awhile. I tried up until beginning of XXXX to try to resolve. Nice XXXX gentleman tried to help but seems they for some reason had no copy of money order but all the fees penalties from stating it was fraud. It's still upsets me it affected my entire life my credit, being in collections, being labeled as fraud account, not able to get utilities in my name for 3 years until I was able to pay it all, and lost apartment and reputation. They were rude and kind of mean treated me like criminal.

Consumer Complaint: i had my car repossed from wellsfargo due to XXXX policy being added to my account made my XXXX payment go up to XXXX for the XXXX policy XXXX days before payment and XXXX days after adding this policy wich i did not need due to the fact that i had my own personal insurence and gap insurence when i got the loan for the car and my car was purchased for personal use so they should not have even added Any policy to my account my interest went high and i fell behind they repoed my car XXXX days after adding the XXXX and then sold it in auction withought me being notified of where it was even at on top of all thing the settlement check they sent me went to a bancrupty trustee in Spokane that i never heard of i have never been or filed for bankruptcy amount was XXXX XXXX also went through mediation and that was a joke the first statement the mediator made was that him and wells fargo deal with people like me every day i was so emotionally drained that they were making jump through hoops for something that belonged to me anyways after they denied me getting another check made out that the bankruptcy trusstee recieved and cashed was denied please help even on the refund they did send they were still lying and stealling out money again why let the bank who robbed us be in control of our refund money .they also missapplied paymenrts incorrect fee and interest rates were charged to my account if redressed you will see that i would have hAD MY CAR PAYED OFF IF IT WASNT FOR THE XXXX POLICY

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my Wells Fargo Checking and Savings accounts were hacked with unauthorized wire transfers via the Wells Fargo mobile app ( which I do not use ). Initially, the hackers attempted to take {$390.00} from my checking and were thwarted, however, they were able to take {$11000.00} from my savings. The fraud specialist promptly shut everything down ; online logins, my debit card, and both account numbers. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called the fraud department for an update on my claim and WF is telling me the claim is closed because they could not retrieve the funds from the beneficiary account and all I can do is file a police report. I asked the Bank Manager to escalate the claim and at this time, the only recourse seems to be that I keep requesting WF to continue to make attempts to return those funds to the account from the beneficiary bank. The Branch Manager told me sometimes it takes a few attempts, but I'm not convinced they'll retrieve it. I filed a police report with XXXX XXXX as well as an online FBI report. On XX/XX/XXXX, I had the WF fraud department attach my police report case number to the file, which may or may not reopen the claim.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a credit card with Wells Fargo. I have had trouble with them before ( and have put XXXX complaints against them before ) but this last incident is so bad I need to write to the CFPB. I misplaced my credit card one Friday evening. I contacted Wells Fargo to see what the last charge was on the card that day to know if someone had received my card. They wouldn't tell me. I finally decided to give up and hung up. I found the card the next day. I tried to use it but the charge would not go through. I called Wells Fargo to find out they locked the card. WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Then they would not unlock it until I drove to a branch and gave them my drivers license so they could keep and image of it on file. I refuse to let them take a image of my drivers license and keep it in their files. That puts me at great risk for identity theft. They tell me they will not send me an credit on the account, so they have decided to keep my money against my will. Also, when I was on the phone with them, they would switch me to multiple departments and put my identify at risk multiple times as for each department they wanted to re-verify me. And they had no intention of unlocking my account so I was put at risk for no reason!!

Consumer Complaint: wells fargo bank teller refused to disperse an inperson nwithdrawal on XX/XX/23 stating they did not have enough cash on hand. this was after questioning me about what i am withdrawing for and spending the money on inappropriately. she had originally denied to meet with me about my account saying she didnt have time. she told the next closest bank was sending cstomers to their branch that day because they were out of cash. i went to a dofferent branch and explained this, requesting the teller be discreet, which she was not. she verbally announced my transaction amount repeatedly in front of a long line, being the only teller working in the bank, and requested information such as my occupation. i have had this account open for a long time and it was totally violating. on or around XX/XX/23, my checking debit card was used without my consent for a wire transfer making my funds unavailable for over a week. i obtained a new card, but the teller questioned me inappropriately today at thebank about how this happened, if i have XXXX set up, etc. I called wells fargo because ther site does not have details aboit filing a complaint and the banker kept me on hold for another agent, utimately refusing to provide a method to file a complaint.

Consumer Complaint: Fraud happened and $ XXXX was taken out of my account. I have filed the fraud with Wells Fargo about this. They will not help me at all with trying to get this resolved quickly. I talked to two different people, 1 from the claims department who had an attitude and was disrespectful. The second person I talked to was a lady named XXXX who was a senior executive. She was very rude and even hung up on me without helping me with my problem.
