Consumer Complaint: IN XX/XX/2019, I was temporarily living in XXXX, XXXX. On XX/XX/2019 I sold a XXXX XXXX XXXX Multipurpose Electrical Stimulation for XXXX Euros from my location in XXXX XXXX via XXXX.. XXXX item ID : XXXX. The purchaser paid me the amount via paypal. I sent her the item. Everyone was satisfied. I used my XXXX email address. A few days later, after the item was sent, paypal informed me that they were closing that account. Paypal did take their cut for receiving the money and XXXX also received their percentage. I had no idea why they were closing my paypal account, and they would not tell me. They said they would send me an email in 180 days and I could then access the XXXX Euros I had earned. It is now over 180 days, and I have not received the email. I called paypal, but they say that due to covid 19 they do not have any live agents. I went onto their site and their message center is not working. So there is not way to contact them. Paypal is owned by XXXX and XXXX uses this service and requires sellers to use it. My funds have been held for around 180 days and I can not find a way to get them. Please fix this problem since, Paypal was a subsidiary owned by XXXX. Please reach out to paypal and have them send me the funds that are currently listed as mine in my XXXX XXXX account. Consumer Complaint: Because of rules the CFPB enforced on Paypal, I am unable to refund someone a transactions because of " low funds ''. Paypal is forcing me to sign up for an account I don't want. I want to refund someone back their money, and paypal isn't allowing me to do so. I think they could easily refund the transaction based on the law, but they are not interested in being fair.

Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase using my Paypal account on XX/XX/20. It was a purchase made via a XXXX ad. I later read through some of the comments and realized this was a fraudulent seller and I should cancel the transaction. I sent an email to the seller and it came back as undeliverable. I contacted PayPal to dispute the transaction on XX/XX/20. I disputed as items not received. On XX/XX/20 I received an email from PayPal that my claim was denied and the items had been delivered. The tracking info they provided said the items were delivered on XX/XX/20. This is before I made my purchase! They have denied my claim and I am unable to speak with anyone. Please assist.

Now PayPal is asking me to file a complaint with a law enforcement or government agency to resolve the case. This is a copy of the most recent e-mail sent by PayPal : Please provide any information we ask you to send us within 10 days. If we don't hear back from you within this time frame, we may decide this case in the sellers favor. To continue with this investigation, a report must be filed with a law enforcement agency or government organization. You may choose to contact your local law enforcement agency ( such as your local police or sheriff 's department ) or you may choose to file a report with any other governmental agency of your choice. Consumer Complaint: I am a seller on XXXX selling a XXXX XXXX laptop for {$1000.00} It started with a message from someone claiming to " buy '' the laptop from me. The buyer agreed to cover the shipping ( + {$100.00} ), this totaled to {$1100.00} and I asked to have it paid through PayPal. This is where it things go wrong, because the email contact claims to be PayPal, has a domain " XXXX ''. But I didn't realize it until I paid {$850.00} of Gift Cards to the buyer in order to " authorize payment ''. However, that didn't end because the last email I got asked me to pay {$1000.00} for their ridiculous 'insurance '. This is where I know they definitely crossed the line. The damage has been done and I submitted complaints to my bank, FTC ( and you also ). The liability totaled to {$2000.00} ; I want my laptop back and the {$850.00} that was mistakenly paid.

Consumer Complaint: I sell on XXXX, and my PayPal account was limited on multiple occasions. When I was limited, PayPal had me submit the required information so that they may review it and un-ban my account. I had my account limited 4 times within one month and each time I was able to provide the necessary documentation and my account was released. When my account was banned for the 5th time, I had submitted my information and some time passed where I had not received an update regarding my account as I could not withdraw any of my funds which are desperately needed. I contacted customer support through email as their customer service phone number is not working because the call center is closed. The agent told me that they are waiting for a specific transaction that was in transit to a customer of mine, and once it was delivered, my account will be released. A few days later, I had received notification that my account was permanently banned and all my funds are withheld for 180 days. After contacting support 3 times, I was not able to find the reason for my ban.

I placed and order on XXXX and ordered two gowns from XXXX XXXX XXXX through the XXXX website I'm guessing XXXX XXXX XXXX is a third party through the website well anyways I returned the two gowns for a refund and never got a refund I had to report this issue to PayPal since I payed with PayPal and PayPal sent me a temporary credit of the XXXX for the two gowns well now PayPal is siding up with the merchant XXXX XXXX XXXX and telling me I did not return the two items when infact I sent them the proof now I had to file and appeal with PayPal to let them now the two items are no longer in my possession and were sent back to the merchant on numerous purchased PayPal isn't helping me and I'm loseing out on money and I can't report it to the XXXX credit card company because of covid 19 nobody answers and I'm not able to dispute this charge online through the XXXX XXXX website aswell so I had to dispute through PayPal and yet PayPal is still giving me a bad time

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to purchase nail polish from XXXX XXXX XXXX and I paid XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. When I hadn't received my purchase, my first email went to Pay Pal, dated XX/XX/XXXX. PayPal responded on XX/XX/XXXX to say that I should still wait for the product but I could escalate the issue with them by XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, still not receiving the product I emailed PayPal again to receive assistance with the matter and they again mentioned the escalation that had to occur by XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I again contacted PayPal and asked what else do I need to do to escalate the issue since after 3 emails, all I was getting was the standard email regarding escalation. I stayed on the site there and emailed on another part of the site asking for " escalation '' process or link and noting my previous emails. On XX/XX/XXXX, PayPal emailed me to say that my case was closed and could not be reopened since I did not escalate the matter. Angry that day, I again emailed and left my phone number for some resolution and to this day, have not received any assistance or response and have not received my product. I'm writing to you for assistance.
