Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I sent a dispute on XX/XX/2018 asking XXXX XXXX XXXX to validate debt of {$180.00}. I was looking to get full accounting of the alleged debt. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act I have the right to demand they disclose all the documentation requested from my original letter that was sent on XX/XX/2018. I do not have a contract with Convergent. Please send bonding agent for XXXX XXXX XXXX in case if legal action becomes necessary.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Convergent Outsourcing stating that I owed XXXX for a debt back from XXXX in the amount of {$370.00}, but Convergent was willing to settle the debt for 65 % of the balance ( {$240.00} ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a debt validation letter to Convergent because I had no knowledge of owing this debt whatsover. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Convergent stating that they had satisfactorily verified this debt, and attached purported bills from XXXX with someone else 's name someone similar to mine. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a follow-up dispute letter to Convergent, informing them that again I had no knowledge of this debt, and to look at the debt validation " proof '' they sent me, it did not even have my name on it - it was someone else 's name. This debt should not be collectible, as I have provided ample evidence it is not my debt, and the validation " proof '' they presented bolsters my argument since my name is not even on the invoices they submitted as validation.
