Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of identity theft in XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX for the sum that XXXX XXXX has been trying to collect {$560.00} for with their attempts. This account was initially with a previous collection agency and I disputed it as fraudulent account and it was sent back and it was then placed with XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX has been trying to collect this sum when that balance does not belong to me. That account was opened and used at an address that I have never resided with a phone number I have never had. I have never lived in Georgia, I have never been to Georgia. This address is still even listed as a previous address on my credit reports that I am actively trying to remove. It is a fraudulent address and account that was made with XXXX. I had provided a XXXX representative with my case number to rectify the case of the fraudulent account but my info was still forwarded with a balance to collections which XXXX XXXX currently has. I am attaching the initial police report for this fraudulent XXXXXXXX account and would like for XXXX XXXX to cease and desist with the letters for payment on an identity theft account and case. ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , GA XXXX

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I have disputed with the credit bureaus and Convergent alike the inaccurate entry that Convergent is reflecting on my credit report ( see attached documentation ). In my initial review and finding of this reflected entry, I submitted a dispute to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. The bureaus responded that this entry was verified. To that end, I submitted my dispute to Convergent. Within my dispute ( see attached ), I specifically requested that they provide an agreement with signature of alleged debtor wherin he/she agreed to pay the creditor, date this alleged debt became payable, original delinquency date, verification that the debt was assigned or sold to collector as well as a complete accounting of alleged debt. Convergent did not oblige. Convergent 's letter, ( see attached ), dated XX/XX/18 does not provide any substantial evidence to support the veracity in their reporting. To that end, since Convergent is unable to provide supporting documentation for this inaccurate, unverifiable entry, it must be deleted from my file immediately.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Problem with personal statement of dispute
Consumer Complaint: From XX/XX/2018 to XX/XX/2018, multiple credit report dispute letters were sent out.Contained in this dispute were requests to verify accounts on my report via copies of the original creditors ' documentation with my signature on file. These requests have been overlooked and unverified items remain on my credit file. Under FCRA Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) it is required in order to properly verify any account on my credit report, original documentation with my signature must be provided. Section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) of the FCRA states that if TransUnion is unable to properly verify the accounts in question in 30 days, they must deleted from the credit report immediately. These companies have failed to comply with all of the above. Verification method was not provided.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: There was a XXXX account that I had no knowledge of that was put into collection in XX/XX/XXXX on my credit report. When the original account was opened I wasn't even of age to being building personal credit. In XX/XX/XXXXI contacted the company to do a pay for deletion and to have these items removed from my credit report. Once the amount was payed in full the collection was only deleted from my XXXX credit report and not my XXXX. I've contacted the company and credit bureaus since the XXXX removal to get the XXXX collection removed with no success.
