Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I requested a detailed description of the alleged charges, dates, and amounts over the phone. Instead I received a letter with just the total alleged amount. I responded with a written dispute letter as I do not agree with the amount in question requesting again a detailed description of the alleged charges in writing. My dispute has not been responded to and the company continues to repeatedly call all day and night and harass my father and provide him with information that is inappropriate. They then attempted to withdraw money from my bank account fraudulently and without my permission and I had to cancel all of my cards.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed an item that was falsely added by this creditor. On my credit file they claimed i owed {$240.00}. On XX/XX/18 I sent my first letter, this letter was received by them via certified mail on XX/XX/18, After 30 days passed, this company sent me a letter dated XXXX that looks like a bill, this bill didn't reflect any contract or my signature stating that I have any kind of agreement with this company or it's alledged client. I sent them a 2nd letter on XX/XX/18 disputing the derogatory they have, this letter was received via certified mail by them on XX/XX/2018, this company sent me a letter dated for XX/XX/2018, this document was the same identical documentation they sent on XXXX and furthermore they continue to report this false item on my credit profile to all 3 bureaus. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. Again, a print out of a bill is not valid, I need the actual contract from this company.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I sent a letter to XXXX XXXX requesting that they validate NOT verify a debt that they are attempting to collect from me. I specifically asked for a signed agreement and other supporting documentation. They provided me with billing statements which does not prove that I am obligated to pay them anything. They have reported delinquent information the credit bureaus that I am asking to be deleted. Also, they are trying to collect debt that does not have my name attached to it.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: I recently noticed a pattern of random accounts appearing in my debt collections on my credit report. I have had a number of accounts that appear to have a very similar sequence of a time frame in which they were established. I did not authorize nor do I have knowledge of how these accounts were opened without my consent. I am not sure of how someone could have obtained my personal information in order to conduct such activity. This appears to be a case of identity theft and I wish to address this matter immediately. The debt collection states on my credit report that the original creditor was XXXX but mind you I did not have service with that company during the time of this frivolous occurrence.

Consumer Complaint: In approximately XXXX of 2018, I was made aware of a collection account on my credit report. I was obtaining financing for a motor vehicle. The collection account was from XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX. The collection amount was {$1300.00}. I let the collection agency know that I did not have service with XXXX XXXX during the alleged time frame. In fact, I was not even living in an area that offers service from XXXX XXXX. I was living in XXXX XXXX, Arizona, and was taking care of my mother in law, who was terminally ill. I received a packet from XXXX XXXX about the possible ID theft. I have a few issues here : First, I have no idea where the alleged service took place. Therefore it is impossible to file a police report, as one of the first questions asked is : Where did the id theft take place?. The police will only file a report after verifying jurisdiction. Second, this debt is over 6 years old. Therefore in the State of Arizona, it is beyond the statute of limitations. XXXX XXXX is attempting to collect on a debt that is outside of the statute of limitations. I will also forward this complaint to the Attorney XXXX XXXX in the XXXX of Arizona. Third, I have never heard anything about any XXXX XXXX account until it showed on my credit report over 6 years after the fact. Fourth, I did have an issue with a family member using my information years ago. I guess that could be possible, however that family member died in XXXX of this year ( 2018 ). I ask that XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX remove this collection account immediately from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I was a XXXX customer from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. I then cancelled my services, paid my final bill, and returned all equipment. I initially found a collection account on my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX, but being billed under XXXX XXXX, in the amount of {$360.00}. I immediately disputed the charges and it was confirmed as inaccurate and removed from my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. The collection popped up on my credit report again under XXXX XXXX XXXX ( for XXXX ) in XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately disputed it again and once again it was found inaccurate and removed from my credit report. Then the same thing happened once again in XX/XX/XXXX and I have been fighting it ever since. I have been dealing with XXXX and Convergent ( the new creditor/collection agency ) and no one has been able to provide any proof that this debt it legitimate but refuses to remove it from my report. I asked for a copy of the supposed bill and received a copy of a bill that was for a billing cycle 2 months after my cancellation of services. None of the numbers match up and no one is willing to help me. I have attached a copy of the evidence they sent, it doesn't make any sense at all.
