Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: This debt I believe occurred in XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX however has reappeared on my credit report showing a XX/XX/XXXX start date. I disputed the debt through the credit bureau 's but they supposedly received enough info to say it was my debt. I have never received any information and know this has been a collection item for many years at this point. It is illegal to re-age the debt in attempts to collect the debt. I have requested information from the agency but have not received anything to date. I have found one bill going back to XX/XX/XXXX regarding this debt so there is no way the XX/XX/XXXX report date is the origin.

Subissue: You told them to stop contacting you, but they keep trying
Consumer Complaint: Over the past few weeks i have been getting calls at my workplace from a company called " Convergent ''. its only a machine with a call back number then it hangs up. The call comes in usually around XXXX XXXX. on XX/XX/18 at XXXX i called the number that was provided by the automated call and asked them to stop calling my employer. they took the last 4 numbers of my work phone number down that i asked them not to call then hung up on me. on XX/XX/18 at XXXX the call came through my employer again so i called the number on the caller i.d . and not the one provided by the automated call in hopes this would solve the issue. i again asked them not to call my work and they took the whole phone number down and said they will put a note on my account to not use my work number then again hung up on me. this morning, XX/XX/18, at XXXX i got a call in my office from this same company. these calls have become harassing and is putting my employment at risk.
