Consumer Complaint: I have called Convergent Outsourcing multiple times to verify my debt via phone and they insisted on reporting the collection on my credit report which I did not authorize and that violates my consumer rights. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received confirmation via green return receipt that Convergent Outsourcing Inc. received a letter from me stating to provide me the contract with my original wet signature that obliges me to pay this alleged debt. I received the recent mailing from them that was also backdated 10 days from my receipt, and I am also pretty adamant in checking my mailboxes. They claim to verify the debt with a copy of the billing statement from the " so be '' original creditor XXXX however, this is not what I asked for and is in violation of 15 USC 1692 ( FDCPA ). The alleged debt of {$270.00} as they claim is not mine. I am still a customer with XXXX now and my service still works and it is weird how this debt pops up as mine out of nowhere. I believe there has been a mistake. I called Convergent Outsourcing Inc. today to let them know of my actions to forward this issue and complaint tot the CFPB and XXXX XXXX has said she will dispute again in there system but I am not sure of the effort.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 Convergent Outsourcing added a derogatory mark on my credit report per XXXX XXXX, XXXX app and XXXX. Upon further research this account was transferred/sold and I am and I am no longer responsible for the account. Debtors creditor did not verify this collection. Also there was no written communication, contract, or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt and anybody can send a bill and say its mine. According to the FCRA Convergent Outsourcing has violated my rights as a consumer and I'm requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I cancelled a XXXX account with authorization from a XXXX employee. The reason for cancelling the plan after several years of service was because there was no service in the area I lived in even though I paid for service for XXXX years at that location. XXXX insisted I pay a disconnect fee after I already canceled the service even though it was authorized by their employee who agreed I would not have to pay a fee. I spoke with an attorney who helped me communicate with XXXX and collection agencies about the conflict, disputing the charge. Since at least XXXX XXXX has continued to harass me for some partial payment off and on.
