Consumer Complaint: XXXX I was only recently made aware of the XXXX XXXX vs Wells Fargo settlement. I can only credit my own self search regarding other financial matters did I become aware of said class action or anything in regards to being denied mortgage modification opportunities that myself any family could have greatly benefitted from, and Wells Fargo denied at every opportunity. Just today on contacting thought the phone number provided on a random website did I contact and was told that I was indeed on the list of borrowers. After my prior ( XXXX ) complaints and having no resolution I'm thoroughly stressed to my limit, they still are reluctant to fully supply information and I have received XXXX correspondence or documentation on this matter from Wells Fargo, however they missedaling a small local tax payment ( {$6.00} ) to my city tax account, and had me in collections for that! ( Yes it has since been resolved ) due to my own due diligence.

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo credit card. On XX/XX/23 I made an overpayment of {$2.00}. On XX/XX/23 I made a purchase of XXXX. My running balance shows I owe {$7.00}. Yet, my outstanding balance showed I owed {$9.00}. I paid the {$7.00} and my running balance showed XXXX balance. Yet the outstanding balance owed showed {$2.00}. I called the bank on XX/XX/23 and 2 agents could not see my running balance and could only see outstanding balance. They argued until I got to the 3rd, higher up, agent. He said it was outrageous that they, the agents, could not see the running balance and he would take this matter to the complaint department and I would have an answer in 10 days. He also said I was, " nickle and diming the bank. '' I believe this is a deliberate attempt to steal from their customers and they make the resolution process so difficult that customers eventually pay. This is theft.

XXXX which brought me here. XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX XXXX This was the first time I entered a Wells Fargo branch since XXXX. At my visit to branch # XXXX in XXXX, CA, I found out that my teller machine card was expired, I requested from the employee at the window to order my replacement card. The employee requested help from the branch manager, who, after looking at my account, told me that he can not order a teller machine card from his computer and that in order for me to order a new card, I MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND SIT WITH A BANKER.He then proceeded to tell me that no appointments are available soon, but he can put me on a waiting list and get me to meet a banker faster than making an appointment. which I found it ODD because i have been with Wells Fargo for more than 35 years. Usually they want you to sit with a banker to try to convince you to open more accounts that you do not need and to make investments that profit the bankers. I WANT TO KNOW : 1- WHY DID THE MANAGER AT THE BRANCH TELL ME THAT I NEEDED AN APPOINTMENT TO SIT WITH A BANKER JUST TO RENEW MY TELLER MACHINE CARD? It must be a hidden reason that benefits the banker. 2- DOES THIS MANAGER THINK I AM XXXX TO TELL ME THAT HE CAN NOT RENEW MY CARD ON HIS COMPUTER? 3- HOW COME WHEN I WENT OUTSIDE OF THE BRANCH AND CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE XXXX THE CUSTOMER SERVICE RENEWED MY CARD IN 30 SECOND PHONE CALL? 4- WHY DOES THE MANAGER OF THE BRANCH HAVE NO EXPERIENCE AND NOT KNOW HOW TO RENEW A TELLER MACHINE CARD? 5- IS WELLS FARGO HIRING MANAGERS FOR THE BRANCHES WITH NO EXPERIENCE SIMILAR TO THE ONE WHO JUST ANSWERED MY COMPLAINT AND THE ONE WHO TOLD ME HE CAN NOT RENEW MY TELLER MACHINE CARD ON HIS COMPUTER?, 6- WHY HAS WELLS FARGO REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE THIS POSSIBLE MISCONDUCT? This was the answer of the Executive FROM XXXX XXXX Case Specialist who did not address my complaint properly, refused to forward my complaint to a XXXXnager, and refused to investigate. the executive WORKING FROM HOME office case specialist response was a copy and paste standard answer that they send to everyone. - { Thank you for your patience while we looked into your concerns. Weve completed our research and are ready to share our findings. Were sorry for any service concerns you may have experienced when you attempted to get assistance at a Wells Fargo Branch. We strive to provide exceptional service, and its disappointing to learn we didnt meet this expectation. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received a call from my bank which is Wells Fargo of fraud on my account. A fraudster has did a cash advance from my credit card in the amount of {$10000.00} and transferred it to my checking account and did a digit wallet tap at XXXX locations XXXX hour and a half to XXXX hours away from me. My card were not lost or stolen and I have NEVER gave my information out to anyone. I work alone and have no idea who could have stolen and did this. I have been working with Wells Fargo and today XX/XX/2023 I called for an update on my claims to get money put back on my credit card and checking out ( which someone closed it and it was not me and should not have been done ). I was advised that my claim was denied because the bank said I did the cash advance and putting it into my account which I did not do the transaction so they closed it. After the XXXX Wells Fargo representative I spoke to today, I was advised that the claim was denied as if I processed the cash advance. No further investigation is being done so the last representative reopened the claims, asked questions, and said due to the department he is not able to provide me with a claim # but have previous claim numbers. Today, I filed a police report online with my local police department, and I found all addresses where transactions where done so I will be traveling to those locations to ask questions. I have spoken to a XXXX at XXXX of the locations today and he advised he would allow for me to review footage from the day of the transactions which was XX/XX/XXXX. I will be traveling to the location tomorrow, XX/XX/XXXX as soon as I land in XXXX, XXXX No time stamps are available, as of now, which I got addresses from my Wells Fargo bank XXXX which the bank could have also advised me of the correct steps but they did not along with advising me to do a police report and/or they will review these locations. They only provided claim numbers and said that it would be taken care of. I also had my own funds and verified my last transactions on the account before fraud occurred and still has not been resolved, therefore I am doing my own investigation because someone got my information somehow and has acted as if they were me and stole this money. Also, when I called the bank today XX/XX/2023 they said they can not find where the funds went to and no longer have access to the account due to being closed. Wells Fargo has not helped besides noting my account, having account closed, and processing a claim. I have probably talked to over XXXX individuals from Wells Fargo from the various XXXX departments and nothing has been taken care of at this point. I am very unhappy with the customer service, no sense of urgency and lack of investigating on this situation as I have been a customer for years and they can verify I have never did a cash advance ever and also I had a XXXX balance on my Wells Fargo credit card account since XX/XX/2023.

I am reposting my complaint again because wells Fargo working from home employees failed to address my complaint properly.Those working from home employees without any supervision are refusing to investigate and admitting and fixing the problem and answering my complaint properly, all they answer are lies and has nothing to do about my complaint. WELLS FARGO IS IGNORING MY PRIVACY RIGHTS FOR OVER THAN 2 YEARS. Consumer Complaint: Good Day to You Counselors : I hope that this communication finds you and your colleagues in good health and fine spirits. This inquiry concerns a property that was foreclosed upon by Wells Fargo in the fall, of XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX, DE XXXX ). After these proceedings were conducted and Wells Fargo, their agents and or contractors took possession of this property - several robberies took place. These events were detailed in several police reports sent to the local State Highway Patrol office for investigation. As you may have gathered, this is a fact finding mission. My attorneys have instructed me to reach out to Wells Fargo in order to expedite this process. To wit, I am requesting the following documentation. We shall expect a detailed response within 15 business days, by XX/XX/XXXX. These responses should be transmitted electronically. Please submit the following items. 1. Timeline of events concerning the property for the year preceding the foreclosure and three months after the date the proceedings were completed 2. Copies of of declarations, advertisement or solicitations that indicated that the property had been made available for resale 3. Names, contact information of agents or contractors associated with the resale of the property 4. Names and contact information, financing arrangements/ terms offered to the new buyer 5. Appraised value of the property at the time of foreclose and at the time of resale 6. Copy of contract issued to subcontractor ( s ) to Winterize the home 7. Copy of background and credit checks for the winterizing contractor ( s ) 8. Photo ID for the winterizing contractor ( s ) 9. Drug test results for the winterizing contractor ( s ) 10. Winterizing contractor 's vehicles - year, make, model, color, and license plate numbers 11. Copy of completed work log / invoice submitted by the winterizing contractor ( s ) Warranty? 12. Finger prints/ DNA to compare with samples taken by State Highway Patrol My attorneys have invoked a simple checklist in order to clarify this matter. Regarding culpability here are the key determinants : Motive/ Access / Opportunity - ability to act illegally under the guise of official authorizations. It should be noted here that the State Highway Patrol found no indications of forced entry. With this observation in mind, we are also requesting that Wells Fargo please submit the following similar items relating to the subcontractor who was employed as the Locksmith for these proceedings. 1. As of this date I have not received notification of my eligibility nor inclusion in the recent {$3.00} Billion settlement with Wells Fargo. ( For mortgage loan borrowers, damages might be owed for wrongful foreclosures, incorrectly charged fees. ) XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX During the fall of XXXX my home was foreclosed upon by Wells Fargo ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX DE XXXX ). However, Wells Fargo failed in their responsibility to perform due diligence as required by law and their internal policies and procedures regarding this foreclosure. Specifically, I never signed any paperwork that would have authorized or facilitated the take over of my home. Nor was I requested to sign for any notifications that could have been delivered by mail. In addition, I am unaware that the normal offer of payments for the surrender of the deed was available. Moreover, I am unaware that a payment for moving expenses was ever on the table. To add insult to injury, during the foreclosure proceedings, Wells Fargo failed in their fiduciary / stewardship obligations after having vouched safe for the homeowner 's property in, and on the premises. While under the stated protection of Wells Fargo, several robberies were committed or facilitated by contractors employed by Wells Fargo. These thefts resulted in nearly a six-figure loss. My complaint is that my home was taken unfairly illegally, without the completion of the due process to which I was entitled. My intent is to recover my home or be paid at least the minimum market value of this home. This residence is currently valued at more than {$500000.00}. Also, I am seeking to recover the nearly six-figure loss of the contents stolen by Wells Fargo contractors . You will find attached a letter, now on hold, written to Wells Fargo regarding this issue. Consumer Complaint: I reported fraudulent charges from my debit card to Wells Fargo on XX/XX/2023. A week later I receive a letter in the mail stating that the charges were made by me or someone I know so they are reversing the preliminary credit to my account which was just under {$100.00}. While this amount is not huge, I still believe Wells Fargo is not upholding its duty of XXXX fraud liability. I did not make these charges nor did anyone else that I know. My card was in my possession and a hacker somehow was able to obtain the information from it. This is terrible business practices and they will lose a long time customer over this unless fixed.

Issue: Problem with a lender or other company charging your account

Consumer Complaint: I called Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX to advise them of a fraudulent charge on my XXXX account dated XX/XX/XXXX listed as XXXXr {$310.00}. They opened an Investigation during the investigation it was determined that XXXXXXXX has been taking anywhere from XXXX cents a month from my account starting in XX/XX/XXXX. Wells Fargo closed the Investigation and issues me a final credit of XXXX cent. They are refusing to refund my money from the date of XX/XX/XXXX because they say they only pay for fraud for the first XXXX days from the date it started and they don't have to return my money due to the time frame. I was not aware of the other transactions and they don't concern me as they sum was low. I would like to have my money returned and Wells Fargo stick by their fraud protection guarantee.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to you to request the removal of inquiries on my credit report. I have reviewed my credit report recently and have noticed that there are several inquiries that I do not recognize and that were not authorized by me. Below, I detail the information necessary for them to process my dispute request. The inquiries in question are the following : WELLS FARGO DEALER S ( XX/XX/2022 ) XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/2022 ) XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/2022 ) I am not aware of these inquiries and do not believe they are legitimate. Therefore, I request that they be removed from my credit report as soon as possible. I am attaching to this letter a copy of my credit report showing the inquiries I am disputing. I have also highlighted the inquiries in question in the attached copy to facilitate their identification. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that I can resolve this dispute in my favor. Please let me know if you need more information or documentation from me.

Issue: Applying for a mortgage or refinancing an existing mortgage

Consumer Complaint: I received a call from a Wells Fargo representative indicating that the company, as part of a federal (? ) ( or legal ) mandate was offering customers who held a mortgage with Wells Fargo a chance to lower their interest rates on their current mortgages, with Wells Fargo covering the closing costs. The representative indicated that the offer was what was owed to the customer and this was the company 's way of making reparation. He also stated that customers had the right to refuse, in which case Wells Fargo would document the offer and the customer 's refusal. I was one of the customers identified as qualifying for this offer, and was therefore offered the opportunity to refinance at the lower rate ( with an option to shorten the remaining time left on the mortgage ). The process was tedious as a lot of documentation was requested from me, some of which caused me to incur fees to obtain. I spent a lot of time and energy gathering the documentation requested in order to meet every deadline that was set forth since the estimated closing was XX/XX/2023. As we continued the process I noticed that the closing costs were built into the loan amount and queried this with both of the representatives that were assigned to work with me. They both assured me that it would be removed before the closing. Approximately 2 weeks before the closing I received a letter from Wells Fargo denying the request for the refinance.The reason for the denial was due to a foreclosure on an investment property that occurred over seven years ago. The letter from Wells Fargo was worded as though I initiated the request for the refinance, but in actuality I was solicited by the company with the aforementioned information. This solicitation caused me to incur monetary fees which I am out as a result. Had they not approached me, I would not have incurred fees, thus they should be liable for the fees. Moreover, I have been a long term customer/mortgage holder with Wells Fargo and have consistently paid my mortgage on time. If the underwriters want to look for payment trends, they could start with my payment history with them and also take into account that this is my primary residence. Another consideration would be the amount of the mortgage refinance, which was approximately {$210000.00}. The house appraised for {$850000.00}, thus it is unlikely that I would default on a mortgage of {$210000.00}, with the amount of equity it holds. My lowest credit score of all the reporting agencies is XXXX thus I am puzzled by the decision that they made and believe it is unfair. I would like to be compensated/reimbursed for the monies I expended during this process. On another note, during the pandemic my mortgage payment was 1 day late and Wells Fargo charged a late fee as a result. This fee was never refunded to me even though it should not have occurred. I would also like this late fee to be refunded. This company is disgusting.
