Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I put in a dispute claim with Wells Fargo about 2 transactions I used a different form of payment I emailed them proof that I paid a different way but their rep. Decided to deactivate my card due to fraud but I specifically said it wasnt fraud. Now I cant pay my rent with my debit card because thats the only form of payment my apartment takes. The agent did that on purpose because I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused so I hung up and called back to get a different representative! This has caused my rent to be late and Im stuck with a XXXX $ late fee due to him being wicked towards me! I need some type of help with this situation asap! Not to mention I didnt even know my card was deactivated till I tried to order my kids food. He didnt even have the decency to reorder me a new card

Consumer Complaint: We have a home equity line of credit with Wells Fargo Bank. We all had XXXX in our home and my husband was out of work for a while. We called Wells Fargo and were told we could defer six months of payments and they would be added to the end of our loan with no additional interest or anything negatively affecting our credit line. After the six months we started resuming our payments and then Wells Fargo started calling us saying those six payments were not added on to the end of our loan and that we needed to pay them XXXX. We told them no that they were supposed to be added onto the end of our loan and that we were resuming our monthly payments. We have been customers with them since 1989 and this is our third mortgage with them. We have been going in circles with them and everytime we call we get a different person who tells us something different and at this point we cant even understand what they are saying. we owe XXXX and this past friday we went to the bank to pay a XXXX payment and the teller said he couldnt accept it because a message came up saying they could only accept the XXXX. We are getting no where with this bank and feel like they are scamming us and trying to take our home.

Consumer Complaint: I had a credit card from Wells Fargo for a long time and this whole time I had the credit card and my regular debt card I feel like I was always charged a lot of fees that were not right. For one my card was supposed to be a student college account and they signed me up for a regular one so I was getting charged fees left and right when I was still a minor. I feel as if we need to look into this because I was wrongfully charged and I am a loyal customer to Wells Fargo. My whole family banks there and this is just not right. I had to close my credit card and mess up my credit just because I could not afford the interest they were charging and all the extra charges. Please help me I am still a student who will need to get loans for schools and I cant do that due to my credit situation from Wells Fargo. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, at around XXXX, I went surfing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. When I returned, I couldn't find my keys. I thought I might have left them in my car, so I called XXXX for help. After XXXX opened my car, I realized that my keys, phone, and wallet were stolen. In my wallet, I had my Wells Fargo debit and credit cards, driver 's license, and other items. I immediately called Wells Fargo to report the stolen cards. They informed me that there were unauthorized charges of {$3800.00} on my credit card and {$6900.00} from my checking account. I confirmed that I didn't make those charges, and Wells Fargo assured me that they would investigate and freeze my accounts. They also gave me a reference number for the call ( XXXX XXXX ). After contacting Wells Fargo, I called the XXXX police department to file a police report ( XXXX XXXX ) for the stolen items and the police arrived around XXXX. I reported the stolen car keys, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Wells Fargo cards, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX The unauthorized charges on my credit and debit cards were both made on XX/XX/2023, at the same XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ) in XXXX XXXX, California. Wells Fargo refunded the {$3800.00} charge on my credit card on XX/XX/2023. But when I inquired about the checking account charge on XX/XX/2023, they denied my claim and gave no explanation. Unsatisfied with their decision, I reopened the claim for a second evaluation. On XX/XX/2023, Wells Fargo informed me that my claim was denied again, stating that I authorized the transaction using biometric verification on my phone. However, my phone had been stolen. The {$3800.00} charge on my credit card was refunded without any problems. The {$6900.00} charge on debit card was posted to my account on XX/XX/2023, two days after I called Wells Fargo and filed the police report. Wells Fargo wrongfully rejected my checking account claim, stating that I authorized the transaction, even though I informed them immediately that I didn't transact after my wallet was stolen. Please advise on what I may need to provide.

Tried to get a mortgage modification for 4 years with multiple promises from Wells Fargo and the approved amount was reduced {$20.00} off my {$1800.00} payment. Working with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX from XXXX ) WF agreed to {$25.00} payments per month for 6 months then would review for permanent modification as long as payments were on time. Several months later they returned the funds advising they could not accept a partial payment and I had to pay $ XXXX in order to save my house. Both mortgage counseling firms couldnt believe it. I have not heard back from your department or Wells Fargo. Just saw this in the news and wondering why I was not included : Some mortgage loan borrowers were unfairly turned down when they requested modifications to their loan to avoid foreclosure. They also may have been charged incorrect fees and other costs And from XXXX through XXXX, the bank made errors in mortgage modification applications, the CFPB said. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX The family size and income are from when I was applying for the modification.
