Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: I have recently received a copy of my credit report for LexisNexis, which I see that there is a bankruptcy showing on it. I have tried to dispute it with them, and have not gotten any results back. I was disputing it for incorrect information, as they have stated the person reporting this information is nonother than the US XXXX Court Of Kansas. I have checked with the US XXXX Court Of Kansas, and have received a letter stating they do not report to anyone. I have attached said letter for the records. I would like to get this handled as soon as possible. I am thankful for the time that would be given to investigate this complaint, and I look forward to hearing back from you all.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MI XXXX XX/XX/2023 To whom it concerns, I am writing to express my extreme frustration and demand immediate action regarding the erroneous verification of a bankruptcy on my credit report, obtained through pacer.gov. This unfounded verification, which violates several consumer privacy laws, including but not limited to the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act ( FACTA ), Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ), Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ), Uniform Commercial Code ( UCC ), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act ( RESPA ), and others governing accurate reporting requirements, has caused significant damage to my financial reputation and must be rectified expeditiously. On XX/XX/2023, I obtained a copy of my credit report from your agency and was appalled to discover a verified bankruptcy listed on my account. This blatant misrepresentation tarnishes my creditworthiness and disrupts my financial stability. I want unequivocal assurance that these inaccuracies will be thoroughly investigated while adhering to all applicable laws. I am compelled to outline the following grievances and demand immediate remediation : 1. The verification of bankruptcy is entirely unsubstantiated and falsified ; I have NEVER filed for bankruptcy nor engaged in any activities that would warrant such a claim. This egregious misinformation casts doubt on your agency 's competence in fulfilling its obligation to ensure accurate and reliable credit reports. 2. The gross mishandling of my private financial information, as mandated by FACTA, TILA, and other related laws, is a violation of my rights as a consumer. I insist on a thorough investigation into the source of this questionable data, demanding full disclosure of the chain of custody and any supporting documentation that substantiates its legitimacy. 3. Your agency 's failure to comply with the FCRA 's provisions for accurate credit reporting has significantly damaged my credit score, limiting my access to crucial financial opportunities. This unwarranted stain on my credit record has far-reaching consequences, and your agency must act immediately to rectify this injustice. I demand the following actions to be taken without delay : 1. Conduct a comprehensive investigation into the origin, validation, and dissemination of this false bankruptcy claim, ensuring strict compliance with FACTA, TILA, FCBA, UCC, FDCPA, RESPA, and any other pertinent legislation governing accurate credit reporting. 2. Provide me, in writing, with a detailed report of your investigation, including explicit details of each step taken, all findings, and any information associated with the verification of the alleged bankruptcy. 3. Correct my credit report promptly by removing this erroneous bankruptcy verification within the shortest legally permissible timeframe allowed by applicable regulations. Additionally, correct any inaccurate information related to this matter and notify all creditors who have been misled by this falsified reporting. 4. In accordance with FCRA provisions, supply me with a revised credit report, free of charge, reflecting the accurate and updated information after rectification. Please be advised that failure to address this matter with urgency and professionalism will compel me to explore legal actions available to me under the FCRA and other applicable laws. I am prepared to seek legal recourse to safeguard my rights as a consumer if satisfactory resolution is not provided promptly. I expect a written response within 15 business days of your receipt of this letter, detailing the actions undertaken to investigate and rectify this matter, along with confirmation of removal of the false bankruptcy verification from my credit report. Your immediate attention and resolution to this matter is not only legally mandated but will also determine my confidence in your agency 's commitment to consumer privacy rights and accurate credit reporting. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis refuses to show two accidents on my report as NOT AT FAULT, which is preventing me from getting car insurance and risking my financial health. I am currently consulting with a lawyer who will represent me on a contingency to sue them for not correcting this. I filed a dispute with them showing my concrete proof : both XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX that these accidents are NOT AT FAULT in their systems and I have letters from both stating such. Both police reports for the incidents show I am not at fault. But every time I try to use a car insurance broker, they pull these accidents and they show at fault and they blame LexisNexis for this. I should not have to pay a downpayment and {$500.00} a month for insurance on a paid off car with a perfect driving record because Lexisnexis REFUSES TO SHOW THESE ACCIDENTS AS NOT AT FAULT. I AM PREPARING TO SUE AND THIS IS NOT AN EMPTY THREAT. I HAVE ONE LAWSUIT IN FEDERAL COURT AND TWO IN CIVIL COURTS. I WILL PURSUE YOU. THIS IS UNFAIR AND ILLEGAL.
