Consumer Complaint: I have attempted to request a copy of my Consumer Disclosure Report from LexisNexis four times over the course of roughly a month ( XXXX 2023 ) ; each time they respond with a letter via mail stating that they can not verify my identity based on the information I provided. Within the same notice ( s ) they recommend I resubmit my request with additional information. However, I have provided all information they will accept when requesting my Consumer Disclosure Report ; all of which is accurate as it relates to my actual identity. This has effectively made obtaining my Consumer Disclosure Report impossible. I am filing a complaint in the hopes that it will help me to obtain a copy of the report I am legally entitled to.

Consumer Complaint: I have contacted Lexis Nexis about an error on my consumer report and it has yet to be corrected. Your last response to my complaint was my address, social security number, and bankruptcy account number were accurate. This leads me to believe that you NEVER read my complaint. I NEVER said these things were inaccurate but I pointed out some other things that were inaccurate and I even provided proof. However, you did not investigate the complaint properly or you just didn't do it at all. I have no clue what you guys are doing in your office or if you are actually doing your job. Once again I am challenging INACCURATE information that you have reported on my consumer report and I am providing you evidence that the information is INACCURATE. Here is the original complaint : I am requesting for the following inaccurate information to be deleted from my consumer file. You stated you verified the information from Pacer. I pulled up the documents from Pacer to make sure all information you were reporting was correct. It appears you did not get your information from Pacer. I have also included information from Pacer that proves the information is inaccurate. I found the following items below to be in error and I am requesting that it is deleted from my consumer file : The county you have listed is XXXX but it was not filed in XXXX county. The county on the Pacer report is XXXX. The court name you have listed is Texas XXXX but that is not the name of the court the bankruptcy was filed in. The court name on Pacer is UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT XXXX XXXXXXXX OF TEXAS. According to 15 U.S.C 1681 states consumers have a right to accuracy and fairness of credit reporting. I have found inaccuracies in my Lexis Nexis consumer file. I have reported this several times but nothing has changed. I have already requested a reinvestigation but now I am just requesting for the information to be deleted from my consumer file. I have included all information needed to verify my identity and to verify the actual reports from PACER.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Dispute of Violations of GLB Act, FCRA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act I am writing to file a formal dispute regarding the violation of my rights as a federally protected consumer by the consumer reporting agencies, namely XXXX XXXX, XXXX. It has come to my attention that these agencies have breached the provisions outlined in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ( GLB Act ), the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act 's Civil Liability for Willful Noncompliance . Under the GLB Act, it is mandated that consumer reporting agencies safeguard personal information to ensure privacy. Unfortunately, the aforementioned agencies have failed to comply with the GLB Act, thereby putting my personal information at risk and compromising my privacy. Furthermore, the consumer reporting agencies have violated the FCRA, particularly 15 U.S. Code 6801, which pertains to the protection of nonpublic personal information. As a result, my rights as a consumer have been compromised and I am experiencing direct harm, which is inhibiting my ability to establish good credit and acquire a rental property. Additionally, the agencies have disregarded key provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including 15 U.S. Code 1681n, which addresses civil liability for willful noncompliance. Their actions not only demonstrate negligence but also a willful disregard for the laws put in place to protect consumers like myself. Moreover, the agencies have violated 15 U.S. Code 1681a, which outlines definitions and rules of construction within the Fair Credit Reporting Act. By neglecting to adhere to these definitions and rules, the agencies have further compromised the accuracy and integrity of consumer reports, which has significant consequences for my financial well-being. Furthermore, the agencies have failed to comply with 15 U.S. Code 1681b, which governs the permissible purposes of consumer reports. By unlawfully sharing or providing access to my personal information, the agencies have damaged my ability to establish good credit and secure a rental property. In light of these violations, I kindly request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action against these consumer reporting agencies. Additionally, I request that you take the necessary steps to ensure my personal information is protected and that the agencies are held accountable for their actions. I amproviding documentation and evidence necessary to support my claims. I trust that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will prioritize the resolution of this matter in a timely and efficient manner to safeguard the rights and privacy of consumers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Consumer Complaint: I received a copy of my LexisNexis Report on XX/XX/XXXX, over the years I have been trying to correct the data they are selling to creditors to no avail. This company is reporting outdated information as far back to XXXX. The question become if this company are required or under the FCRA, then why are they reporting staled information that over XXXX years old? This type of acts is unfair to the hard-working consumer and the CFPB should step in and protect consumers like me. If possible, a new legislation by Congress should conduct a new law to prevent this from happening to consumers.
