Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis responded to a complaint on XX/XX/23 stating that they we're unable to verify my identity and that they would send me a letter via US mail. As XX/XX/23, Lexis Nexis has not made any contact with me via email nor US mail. Lexis Nexis did not address my complaint in which they are reporting an unverified, incomplete and inaccurate bankruptcy record to XXXX. In an attached letter from Lexis Nexis after it completed an investigation, Lexis Nexis stated that the record is reporting accurately according to its source " Lexis Nexis ''. Lexs Nexis is required by the FCRA to validate/verify with the " reporting source '', in this case the " US Bankruptcy Court '' . Lexis Nexis can not solely reply on itself as a validating source as it is not the " original source ''. Lexis Nexis can not solely rely on information it may have obtained from public record databases, such as pacer, especially if the consumer has notified them of a dispute. According to the consumer report sent to me by Lexis Nexis, the bankruptcy section " Does not include or report any bankruptcy record ''. I am requesting the method in which Lexis Nexis used to verify this information and an explanation for the conflicting reporting. To be more specific I am requesting the Name, Address and Phone Number ( If applicable ) of the source it contacted to validate the accuracy and completeness of this record. The FCRA prohibits data furnishers from reporting unverified/incomplete or inaccurate information to credit bureaus. I am demanding that Lexis Nexis removes this record from their data base to include any internal reports not disclosed to the consumer such as its " Suppression Report ''. Lexis Nexis has not been given written permission to report or share any non-public information with XXXX or any other source. Non-Public information includes Name, SSN, DOB. I have attached a copy of my ID/ Bill to validate my Identity. I am not required to provide my social security card and that my DOB and last four of social is sufficient.
