Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Old information reappears or never goes away
Consumer Complaint: I am trying to obtain car and home insurance from XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, when my risk report was run by LexisNexis there was old information listed which prevented me from obtaining car and home insurance. I was denied because of excessive overall " claims ''. Many of the older claims were just having my car towed to the repair shop and not a comprehensive claim were the total was over {$1000.00}. My report is showing claim items like a " tow '' as a comprehensive claim. Additionally, claims on my property insurance are also showing up under my auto insurance claim history by LexisNexis which is what all Insurance Agents use to underwrite and write a new insurance policy.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a freeze on my profile with Lexis Nexis in XXXX and XXXX. Lexis responded with a stall letter XX/XX/2023 and again on XX/XX/2023 that they wee n't able to to authenticate me. I provided them with a copy of my passport, current utility bill and SSN card. This is a violation of my privacy and rights under consumer law. LexisNexis seems to belive the law doesn't apply to them and they can bully consumers.

Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I have disputed a bankruptcy inaccuracies on my credit report numerous times from XXXX and XXXX. And the results remain the same as verified from Lexis Nexis. So I contacted LexisNexis and requested my public consumer report and there is no bankruptcy on there. I even called LexisNexis and they confirmed this as well. My question is ; if reporting is done monthly, and there's nothing on my report from LexisNexis how is that fair in verification? This is hurting my credit and needs to be removed. It is not valid. Furthermore, bankruptcy does not report to credit bureaus and LexisNexis doesn't have a bankruptcy on my file. Where is this validation coming from. The two bureaus will not remove this. This should be illegal, or some sort of violation.
