Consumer Complaint: Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX and I have been calling XXXX for more than 2 weeks attempting to have my credit score accurately updated from XXXX to XXXX primarily because XXXX is using old outdated information on my credit report. Instead of using updated real time information that indicates I sold my home on XX/XX/2023 and payed off 5 loans, in addition to paying off more than $ XXXX in credit card debt. For a total of $ XXXX in debt paid off. Both of the other credit reporting agencies XXXX XXXX and XXXX have already updated my credit report SCORE to approximately XXXX, but XXXX just reported to XXXX XXXX that my credit score is only XXXX today. Why is XXXX inaccurately reporting a low credit score, that is preventing me from purchasing a new home using my Veterans benefits? This action is not fair and XXXX inaccurate credit reporting to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2023, prevented me from obtaining Pre-qualification to purchase a XXXX mortgage. I have repeatedly called XXXX to dispute my credit score but each time I get nothing but the runaround. I am currently living in temporary housing in a hotel because XXXX has refused to update my credit score. There is no way my credit score should be below XXXX after paying off {$300000.00} in debt which included selling my previous resident and paying off a {$270000.00} mortgage 28 years early. Not only that my income has increased by more than $ 2700 monthly because I started a new job with the state of XXXX However, XXXX has chosen to rely on inaccurate information from it's location at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and discriminated against me by failing to properly vet my credit history using reliable sources instead using old, outdated data from it's partner LexisNexis. As a partially XXXX veteran I shouldn't be penalized by for paying off my mortgage early and paying off thousands of dollars in loans. Not only did I pay off my $ XXXX mortgage early with XXXX XXXX, I paid off unsecured loans with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX more than $ XXXX with another unsecured loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Paid off thousands of dollars in credit card debt, but somehow XXXX still has my credit score below XXXX. XXXX has chosen to use an inaccurate, computerized, flawed system of issuing my credit score instead of basing my credit score off factual information from my credit history. The fact that during my XXXX years of mortgage history I was only late 1 or 2 times and my most recent late payment in XXXX of this year occurred because I had XXXX. XXXX has negligently failed to verify the accuracy of my credit information. XXXX has taken no action to ensure that the data relating to the credit information maintained regarding my credit score is accurate. There is no way the other 2 credit reporting agencies has mistakenly evaluated my credit score as XXXX, but XXXX has consistently, unfairly, and inaccurately reported my credit score below XXXX. XXXX intentionally failed to property evaluate my credit score and credit worthiness based on the fact that I payed off approximately {$300000.00} in mortgage loan, unsecured loans and credit card debt on XX/XX/2023. Furthermore, I got a new job that pays more than {$2700.00} thereby increasing my income to more than $ 9000 monthly.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2023, I responded to XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, complaining about an increase in insurance premiums due to a " conviction. '' After calling to find out what I had been convicted of and where, I was told that XXXX didn't know, and that they got their information from Lexis Nexis. I responded to XXXX in writing ( copy enclosed ) and contacted Lexis Nexis on XXXX XX/XX/2023. I sent Lexis Nexis the letter from XXXX that said that Lexis Nexis was the source of data for my conviction. Lexis Nexis told me in a XX/XX/2023 form letter that they couldn't process my request because they couldn't identify me. On XXXX XXXX, I responded to Lexis Nexis and provided them with a copy of a recent Passport and the header statement including name and address from my mortgage provider. On XXXX XX/XX/2023, I got the same form letter back from Lexis Nexis, with the exception that the XX/XX/XXXX letter says that I am Consumer # XXXX / Case # XXXX. The XX/XX/2023 Letter says that I am Consumer # XXXX / Case # XXXX. I'm just a simple XXXX ; I conclude that I am the victim of identiy theft and that Lexis Nexis is incompetent.

Consumer Complaint: NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL IS NOTICE TO AGENT NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL I have submitted multiple disputes through the CFPB Portal regarding my experiences with the credit reporting agencies since XXXX. However, I have not received satisfactory results, and I would like to address the response I received from the credit reporting agencies. The response claims that my disputes were not specific enough to be processed. While it is important to provide specific details when disputing information on a credit profile, it is equally important for the credit reporting agencies to thoroughly investigate and address any concerns raised by consumers. It appears that the credit reporting agencies are placing the entire burden on me to provide specific disputes, rather than taking proactive steps to investigate potential inaccuracies or incomplete information on credit reports. Moreover, the response suggests contacting the credit reporting agencies directly with specific disputes, including names and/or account numbers of the items being disputed. While this may be a valid course of action, it is important to acknowledge that many consumers may not have access to such detailed information or may not be aware of the specific items causing concern. The credit reporting agencies should adopt a more proactive approach in investigating potential inaccuracies, rather than solely relying on consumers to provide specific disputes. Additionally, the response mentions the option of mailing a current copy of the personal credit report for review, which may take up to 10 days for delivery. In today 's digital age, where information can be accessed instantly, this delay seems unnecessary and inconvenient for consumers who are seeking timely resolution to their disputes. The credit reporting agencies should consider providing digital access to credit reports, enabling consumers to review and dispute information more efficiently. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), it is a federal law requirement for the credit reporting agencies to physically verify the original signed consumer contract for any and all accounts posted on a credit report. This verification is crucial to prevent fraudulent accounts from being included in credit reports. I demand to see verifiable proof, such as an original consumer contract with my signature, for the accounts that were previously disputed. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has negatively impacted my ability to obtain credit. According to the FCRA, unverified accounts must be removed, and if you can not provide a copy of verifiable proof, the accounts must be removed. This is my second written request, and the unverified items listed below continue to violate Federal Law. You are obligated under the FCRA to have a copy of the original creditors ' documentation on file to verify the accuracy of this information. In the results of your first investigation, you claimed in writing that you " verified '' that these items are being " reported correctly. '' I would like to know who verified these accounts. You have not provided me with any original documentation required under Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) of the FCRA, which includes a consumer contract with my signature. Additionally, under Section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) of the FCRA, you are required to promptly delete all information that can not be verified. The law is clear regarding civil liability and the available remedy for " negligent noncompliance '' ( Section 617 ) if you fail to comply. As a litigious consumer, I fully intend to pursue litigation in this matter to enforce my rights under the FCRA. In conclusion, the response from the credit reporting agencies to my dispute places an undue burden on me and lacks a proactive approach to investigating potential inaccuracies or incomplete information on credit reports. The credit reporting agencies should take more responsibility in thoroughly investigating consumer concerns and providing efficient and accessible means for dispute resolution.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022 I filed bankruptcy to save my home. My lawyer said if my mortgage company approved my loan modification then there was no need to go through with the bankruptcy. The mortgage company approved the loss mitigation so my lawyer said not to make the first bankruptcy payment so it would be dismissed and removed from credit. It was dismissed in XX/XX/2022 for {$0.00} but they are STILL reporting it in my credit reports hindering me from receiving jobs and any credit.

They stated as I have enclosed proof that Lexis nexus added that I was at fault for an accident on XXXX I am enclosing the police report showing I am XXXX XXXX and its clear I was at a stop sign and was the victim. It was a 4 way stop and as youll see, I wa sitting still. Lexis nexus for XXXX years now, have added this to my insurance report, stating. I was XXXX fault. Costing me thousands and thousands I emailed them the police report immediately. Then called XXXXXXXX XXXX later, she said that XXXX lied and it was never in my report. I told her I bet they were covering their tails after they saw the police report. She literally laughed at me and said it was never there. XXXX didnt lie, Im enclosing proof. By my calculations for XXXX years now, I have paid an extra XXXX XXXX a month on insurance for an accident that was never even my fault. They just decided to make a buck by reporting this. I have enclosed all documents My daughter and I as youll see on the police report were sitting still, a woman was texting and driving ( and she was arrested for that ) and slammed a truck into us, my back was very badly hurt and Im still hurt XXXX years later and this place has the gall to report false information Now, theyre going to lie and say it isnt there anymore after I called them out, after my email of the police report, they deleted it completely but you can clearly see todays date XXXX from XXXX insurance in the papers I attached where they sent them this information. Doesnt matter if they rushed to cover their tails and deleted it, the damage is done for six months with XXXX and they should have to pay for this.

Consumer Complaint: CFPB I have attached email filter results showing the Lexis Nexis is untrustworthy and absolutely lying about having sent an email to me on XX/XX/XXXX. This type of violation and unprofessional conduct should not be tolerated and should be considered when judging this dispute. in CFPB Complaint : XXXX I provided the letters from the XXXX they claim represented me in the alleged Bankruptcy. Any reasonable court or judge will accept the denial of the alleged law-firm as sufficient evident to require deletion of these records from my credit profile. Lexis Nexis is outrageous with their stalling and lying. They fail to properly investigate my dispute. I investigated by contacting the court and the lawfirm and both of these entities say this is not my bankruptcy. Lexis Nexis is using incompetent people who can not read or speak XXXX at the necessary level to be able to provide fair and accurate reporting nor complete proper investigations. Please read the documents and understand. Its clear that you should just delete this and stop harming me! Call the XXXX lawyer that your false record says I used. They constantly tell lies and evade questions. I have attached the identification info they requested, but these folks know my profile and know that I am who I say I am. I am exhausted with them. They need to delete this record now. If Lexis Nexis fails to delete this record and send me a copy of the report showing removal. My lawyer will be filing lawsuits against them asking for fines, emotional damage, lost of wages, heath bills, etc as compensation for the back and forth constant disputing I have had to due for years fighting this false information they keep reporting!
