Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to Lexis Nexis after being quoted excessive premiums/denied for Auto Insurance coverage by several different auto insurance carriers while shopping around for a better rate. When I contacted Lexis Nexis, they informed me that I had entries or recent " auto insurance '' claims in the past 5 years with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX totally > $ XXXX. After informing me of this information, I filed a dispute with Lexis Nexis to have these incorrect ( fraudulent ) entries removed. Lexis Nexis proceeded to investigate and based on their limited investigation, they returned to me a written response on XX/XX/XXXX stating that the entries were " accurate ''. When I reached out to XXXX XXXX to confirm Lexis Nexis investigation results and verify that XXXX did in fact report that I had an " active '' policy in XXXX when the claim was supposedly paid out by XXXX, they confirmed that I DID NOT have a policy with this company, which is what I informed Lexis Nexis. Same conclusion was determined when I reached out to XXXX XXXX regarding an " active '' policy in XXXX when that claim was supposedly paid out. XXXX XXXX confirmed that I DID NOT have an active auto insurance policy with them in XXXX. In addition, the vehicles involved in these auto accident claims, as provided by Lexis Nexis to me, have never belonged to me ; this was confirmed by the registration details within the State of Michigan. To date, I have NOT been successful at getting Lexis Nexis to remove these fraudulent entries. In addition, my concern is that Lexis Nexis is continuing to report fraudulent information to the public regarding my automobile insurance status because they refused to actually " investigate '' the information they have in their profile for me and that does not match the reporting entities ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX ) information. I informed Lexis Nexis at the time of my inquiry on XX/XX/XXXX that the only automobile insurance policy I had between XXXX and XXXX was XXXX and this was confirmed by Lexis Nexis at stated on my profile maintained by XXXXexis Nexis. Based on these facts, Lexis Nexis decision to continue to report this, fraudulent at worst/intentionally inaccurate at best, information is merely because they lack proper procedures/protocols within the Lexis Nexis organization to confirm the information they report BEFORE they report it and after a consumer complaint/dispute of incorrect/inaccurate information.

Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexus is reporting a bankruptcy on my credit report. Because they are reporting that XXXX has stated that the information is verified. I have contacted the company and stated that i would like to know whom did they speak to and what documentation do they have to support that I am in a bankruptcy and they could not. They stated that they will dispute the information. I stated that i would like all documentation for this dispute, the person they spoke with or documents that is given. I also explained that i reached out to the bankruptcy courts and spoke with a clerk who informed me that they do not verify bankruptcy information with no credits. So Im confused.
