Consumer Complaint: I have tried to dispute an inaccurate Bankruptcy on my Credit report - US bankruptcy XXXX XXXX from XXXX - Acct XXXX starting on XX/XX/XXXX with the main 3 Credit Bureaus. XXXX removed the inaccurate information within 30 days, XXXX did not and they stated they verified it according to the previous creditor ( the court ), and XXXX XXXX did not conduct an investigation,. So I disputed it again on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX and XXXX XXXX ( attached disputes ) and with the court at which it is allegedly held. XXXX XXXX stated that 'they could not verify it was me ' ... so I called them to verify and they said they would remove it, but both XXXX XXXX and XXXX validated it again. I received a letter from the Court on XX/XX/XXXX that they do not furnish data to the credit bureaus which struck me as weird because XXXX XXXX and XXXX stated they checked with the court. I disputed AGAIN on XX/XX/XXXX, this time with the Court response attached to my disputes and this as the language I used : XXXX XXXX did not investigate, again, and XXXX failed to look at the documentation. I reached out to LexisNexis because I read online that they sometimes provide data and they reached out stating they could not verify it was me, so I called them like XXXX XXXX and sent another letter. They sent me a report of my lexisnexis file but fai led to look at my dispute and remove the inaccurate item. I have attached this dispute to the file as well Just to try it again and give the benefit of the doubt, I disputed again XX/XX/XXXX. I disputed with XXXX online and uploaded the court doc and my ID docs., tried to do XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX but it will not allow you, so I mailed disputes, and got the same result. I am perplexed at where to turn, XXXX removed the inaccurate item quickly yet XXXX XXXX does not investigate and XXXX fails to look at the information

Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis is not getting the information from the courts as the response states, they are accessing a system ( XXXX ). I contacted the courts directly and they do not report to the credit bureaus or Lexis Nexis, I also contacted XXXX who also stated they do not report to Lexis Nexis or any other credit bureau. The information is incorrect and needs to be removed since they are not getting the information from the Bankruptcy Courts. According to the FCRA, only the original creditor or the entity to whom the debt was legally assigned can report an account to credit bureaus. Upon reviewing the information on my credit report, I have reason to believe that this account was reported by a third-party collection agency that does not report to Lexis Nexis. The information is inaccurate and needs to be deleted from my credit profile. I have stated over and over that this information is incorrect. They have not investigated the information I provided. I spoke to someone at Lexis Nexis who said in a recorded call that they do not send the information to the credit bureau. They also sent me a letter stating it would be removed and that has not happened.
