Consumer Complaint: The Company LexisNexis is stopping me from getting new Credit lines, Loans & Very important things I need for my bussiness to operate due to them putting Tax Lien on my public records. I am on a installment agreement with the IRS and pay them monthly. Source - XXXX XXXX XXXX In XXXX, however, all three credit bureaus implemented changes to eliminate civil judgment records ( notes that a consumer owes debt to a court because of a lawsuit result ) and half of all tax lien data. By XX/XX/XXXX, all tax liens were removed from credit reports by the bureaus. The updated rules are the result of a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau study that found issues with reporting such information correctly. " A lot of judgments and liens were linked to the wrong people, so someone may share your first and last name, maybe live in a different part of the country, and they might have a lien or judgment that might get linked to your file, '' said XXXX XXXX, senior director of credit risk assessment at data firm LexisNexis Risk Solutions! So why is my TAX LIEN on my credit report? I would like this be removed from my consumer report cause it is unfair to me when this is the only consumer place having my tax lien that I am paying off on file.

Consumer Complaint: Consumer file number : XXXX - Case number : XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a dispute together with my identity information XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX received XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX. Since I did not receive a dispute result letter I followed up on XX/XX/XXXX with a letter to send me an updated report with the deleted information. I received a general response letter dated XX/XX/XXXX asking me to mail in a request form. It has been more than 30 days since my initial dispute and I demand that the information to be deleted as required by Federal Law. Anything else would mean that this company does not have to follow Federal Laws. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: I've sent a previous dispute to LexisNexis for a bankruptcy that they said they've verified. Under the FCRA I sent them a " Procedure Request '' asking how they've verified this information. I received a letter from LexisNexis stating they couldn't verify my identity. Which I thought was strange seeing how I added a notary including my driver 's license and social security number ( including information on the procedure of request page confirming my identity as well. ) It seems as if LexisNexis is being non-compliant of the Federal laws. I added plenty of information for LexisNexis to carry out the " Procedure Request '' which I have a right to as the consumer to ask for this specific documentation. It's very clear that LexisNexis rejected my request. This is a violation of the FDCPA. Additionally ; LexisNexis stated they've verified this information ... How is this possible when the US Bankruptcy courts said 'THEY DO NOT VERIFY OR REPORT THIS INFORMATION WITH ANY OF THE CREDIT REPORTING AGENICES?

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I requested for Lexis Nexis to verify a eviction with the ORIGINAL CREDITOR ( XXXX XXXX ) due to inaccurate information being reported. They have failed to send me any documentation that I requested via mail on the letter. At this point I would like this eviction to be removed from their records immediately due to no response. If it is not removed and they can not or have not provided the necessary documents from the ORIGINAL CREDITOR to verify/validate the eviction per FCRA guidelines this need to be removed from their records immediately.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, SSA outsourced to LexisNexis, aka Accuity Asset Verification , & Acurint 3 Inquiry History Reports for the date range XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. As is standard procedure, SSA had a duly executed authorized for release of private financial information for me, XXXX XXXX, an SSI recipient, but not my mother, XXXX XXXX, who is NOT an SSI recipient. LexisNexis/Accuity/Acurint did solely a name match with XXXX XXXX, XXXX, to a savings account in my mother XXXX XXXX 's name, for which I am not associated, except that I am a Payable upon death beneficiary. For this false match, SSA unilaterally cut off XXXX XXXX XXXX SSI Beneifts on XX/XX/XXXX & would not entertain any proof from XXXX XXXX, XXXX, that I, XXXX XXXX had no access to the account nor that proof from XXXX XXXX, NA that this account is Titled solely to XXXX XXXX. LexisNexis/Accuity/Acurint stated their investigations could take beyond 30 days and XXXX XXXX, XXXX did not always cooperate. Neither LexisNexis/Accuity/Acurint nor SSA would accept any documentation directly from XXXX XXXX, XXXX, yet I was the loser, having lost my very needed XXXX Benefits. In XXXX, Attorney XXXX XXXX of the XXXX has filed an Amicus Brief in this matter in Federal Court, styled XXXX v XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XXXX, Attorney XXXX XXXX wrote a legal scholarly paper on behalf of the XXXX oh how LexisNexis/Accuity/Acurint & SSA 's " false match '' tactics deprive SSI recipients of basic due process. In the XX/XX/XXXX issue of XXXX XXXX, an article written by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX called " When LexisNexis Makes a Mistake, You Pay For It ''. It outlined cases where victims of LexisNexis/Accuity/Acurint 's mistakes have fought for years to clear their names. Several are still fighting. This is an unacceptable. For SSA to accept hands down, without question an asset report that is fatally flawed is egregious. This is definitely a violation of due process. People on SSI need their benefits. SSA employees act like dictatorial enforcement officers, calling out the beneficiaries as liars, hiding assets they do not have. This must stop. My XXXX has been stopped. I have bills I can not pay. I face homelessness because of this egregious practice, and an SSA employee, who treated me, an elderly, XXXX person, so badly, he actually brought on a XXXX. Before that, I had not had a XXXX in 7 years.

Consumer Complaint: During the months of XXXX, XXXX, and XX/XX/2020 I requested LexisNexis to place a security freeze on my account. On or about XX/XX/2020, the credit bureaus notified me that the inaccurate information being reported in my files were validated by LexusNexis. LexisNexis continues to furnish inaccurate information to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. In XX/XX/2020, I called LexisNexis and a senior rep advised me that they have no file matching my personal information I provided. When I hold them what the bureaus said, I was advised that all LexisNexis does is provide a data load file to these bureaus and the bureaus are the ones incorrectly matching accounts. LexisNexis claims to also have no relationship with the bureaus even after admitting they send a file monthly to them. The three bureaus further communicated with me that they went directly to the federal bankruptcy courts to verify and validate the reported items. In XXXX I contacted the federal courts bad the clerk advised that the fourths do not verify or validate any personal information with LexisNexis or the bureaus. At this point someone is lying and furnishing inaccurate information.
