Consumer Complaint: I have been requesting a specific detailed section from my LexisNexis consumer report. It deals with how information about my address history is collected in Section 2 of my consumer report. I have been requesting the detailed information as to how their company compiles this information, as the report itself states that the consumer can request this detailed information. They have continued to send me nothing more than additional chips of the same report. I have been requesting the further detailed report of Section 2, and they have failed for months at delivering this item to me

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a Business Adverse Action letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX where I am shopping for a new homeowner insurance. The letter said they put a surcharge on my premium because the information they received from LexisNexis XXXX XXXX in XXXX. In the LexisNexis report, there was an insurance claim listed for XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). After talking with XXXX, I have learned that a phone inquiry on XX/XX/XXXX has been changed to a claim without my knowledge. One of the insurance item I had with XXXX called " home system protection ''. When my furnace was broken on XX/XX/XXXX, I called the company to ask if it is covered by " home system protection ''. I didn't get the answer on the same phone call. Later I paid everything by myself to fix the furnace and did not get a penny from XXXX. I never thought this phone call became a claim and it is against me now when I shop for new insurance. After discuss with XXXX I was provided by a letter saying that the claim was closed and payout was {$0.00}. However, after I presented this letter to XXXX, I was told that the surcharge can not be removed because the claim was still there regardless the payout amount.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity-theft. I am writing to request that you block all the following fraudulent hard inquires in my files with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. This information does not relate to any transactions I made. I did not authorize anyone to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by The Federal Trade Commission, which explicitly states when a victim files an affidavit it shall beg honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information must be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Failure to comply shall lead to complaints being filed with The XXXX XXXX XXXX, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Attorney General with legal action of your companys unlawful collection practices, misrepresentation of reporting inaccurate debts, and noncompliance to adhere to laws enacted to helps who are victims of identity-theft. I request that an extend fraud alert be placed in my file explaining that fraudulent applications may be submitted in my name. Do not extend credit without first contacting me personally and verifying all applications. The below listed accounts by the Original Creditors, who have reported these accounts within my credit reports, were not opened by me. Consumer Complaint: Back on XX/XX/2021 LexisNexis received my letter, asking for their method of verification concerning the bankruptcy they reported to the credit bureaus on my credit reports, I sent them by way of priority mail that I have a tracking number for, that shows they received it on XX/XX/2021. When I called LexisNexis last Tuesday XX/XX/2021 to see what the status was on the letter I sent them, they said they could not find it and they gave me an email address to mail them my request again. However, LexisNexis still has not bothered to let me know that they received my email and they will be responding soon or whatever. So let 's try this again, In this letter I need LexisNexis to give me the method of verification for the bankruptcy they reported to all the Credit Bureaus, I need LexisNexis to tell me how they obtained the bankruptcy information they reported to the Credit Bureaus in accordance with the FCRA that states a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and address of the furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available. The FCRA requires the Credit Reporting Agencies to follow reasonable procedure to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information they report to a consumers Credit Report. When you are finished with your investigation please mail my results to the address below, a copy of my Drivers license and Social Security card is attached for identification proof. Since you all lost my first letter that I have a tracking number for, that you all received on XX/XX/2021, I need this sent to me asap! Also, be advised that me and my husband XXXX XXXX share this CFPB Account, so please don't think that this is some third party! You have a copy of my ID and Social Security Card. She was not evicted nor was I. The apartment was paid the past due rent and she moved out in XXXX of 2015, with all bill paid and current. The property allowed her to pay the rent and accomadting the late payments. There was never an eviction to move. The property recinded the eviction and did not update, that payments where paid and no eviction occured at the property. I dont live in XXXX Texas, I live in California and was in the military when this judgment was entered. Under the SCRA she was allowed to move in XX/XX/2015. Theres an amount of {$2600.00} that was already paid to the propert in 2015 for past due rent. There was no eviction. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a complaint with CFPB case # XXXX regarding Lexis Nexis reporting false information to the three credit bureaus about a chapter XXXX bankruptcy they say I had in XXXX. This incorrect reporting has resulted in my credit being damaged, and has prevented me from being able to purchase a home. On XX/XX/XXXX Lexis Nexis responded to the complaint stating after re-investigation they had removed the chapter XXXX bankruptcy case number XXXX satisfying there obligation under the FCRA. They go on to say that on XX/XX/XXXX, a resolution letter along with an updated copy of my consumer report was mailed to me for review. On XX/XX/XXXX I received the resolution letter ( see attached ) in the letter Lexis Nexis states after re-investigation, Lexis Nexis found that the disputed record on my report prepared by Lexis Nexis XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is accurate as reported. In addition to this they never provided an updated consumer report. I need to have this investigation re opened. Lexis Nexis is not only in violation of Federal Law which clearly states that an individual can not file chapter XXXX twice within 8 years. I filed in XXXX, therefore according to law I can not have filed again in XXXX. In addition to it being the law, I also provided a letter from the XXXX bankruptcy court that clearly stated I could not file chapter XXXX because it is within 8 years. I am perplexed at how a company like Lexis Nexis can get away with direct violations of Federal and State Laws and still be allowed to continue in business. My next complaint is going directly to an attorney to file a civil suit against them with regards to the damage to my credit.

Consumer Complaint: Concerning CFPB complaint XXXX LexisNexis admitted that I filed disputes about incorrect information on their consumer report containing information about me. LexisNexis stated that disputes were filed XX/XX/XXXX. This dispute was directly related to an identity breach and social security variance that was addressed with LexisNexis as well as all other credit reporting bureaus. XX/XX/XXXX it was discoverd that the disputed items were not deleted by LexisNexis as asked and my request to " Cease and Desist '' ( OPT OUT ) of the sharing of my information was not granted per my rights under FCRA. XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX corespondence sent certified mail to LexisNexis were subsequently ignored and no resolution to innacurate data was accomplished only letters that stated " they could not verify identity '' even though clearly legible copies of both state issued drivers license and social security card were sent with each certified mail corespondence. LexisNexis stated in its last complaint response that they mailed a Consumer Disclosure Report ( LNCDR ). No such report has ever been mailed to me. I have sent affidaivts and identity information in order to remove incorrect address and public record information pertaining to me as per my rights under FCRA. LexisNexis has been asked several times to : 1. Give me a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of disputed including the business name and address, and telephone number of any furnisher of information contacted.They have refused each request. 2. To furnish notification of the deletion of disputed information to any person or company whomever has received a LexisNexis consumer report. XXXX has refused. 3. To " CEASE and DESIST '' sharing of my personal information with ANY third party ( OPT OUT ) because they DO NOT HAVE MY CONSENT to compile or share this information. LexisNexis has refused. At this time XXXX is in direct violation of my consumer rights under FCRA.
