Consumer Complaint: I mailed 3 certified letters with return receipts, first letter was sent out XX/XX/XXXX an received XX/XX/XXXX asking Lexisnexis to Verify Public Record of Bankruptcy or to delete account also included was a letter from the Court saying that " they do not give or sell any information to third parties '' and I never got anything back from lexisnexis nor did they mark the account under dispute or notify the 3 credit bureaus of the dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX I ordered my consumer report to see if lexisnexis might of marked the account under dispute but they didn't. Second letter was sent out XX/XX/XXXX an received XX/XX/XXXX it was a follow up letter do to lexisnexis not replying to my initial letter an how they violated federal law. Lexisnexis took 24 days before acknowledging my second dispute an on that 24th day of XX/XX/XXXX lexisnexis then marked the Public Record of Bankruptcy under dispute, but did not notify the 3 credit bureaus of the dispute and on XX/XX/XXXX which equals a total of 66 days from initial letter with follow up letter to get a response lexisnexis replied claiming they Verified that Bankruptcy is accurately reporting to my consumer report but lexisnexis also failed to provide me with a copy of any viable evidence showing the account is being reported accurately. Third letter was sent out XX/XX/XXXX asking for Method of Verification and asking lexisnexis to send documents of proof or to delete the account and on XX/XX/XXXX lexisnexis then responded claiming they Verified that Bankruptcy is accurately reporting, once again with out Providing Documents of Proof or showing Method of Verification. I have attached all documents to support my complaint.

Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis does not gove the ability to give me a free report, i need to send a form, i can not call them, we have spoken previously and she remembered my name? That is so wierd. I just need my report. Because i need to see what is on there and who, why, where, when and how certain companies can reserve the right to exclude informatio. To XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, i dont have stamp money. I dont have money for a fax, and if i call and she remember me, i will be ashamed.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX has been reported a " Dismissed Bankruptcy '' on my credit report since 2016. I have disputed 25 times, contacted US Trustee, BK Court Trustee, Lexis Nexis. Only avenue left is to sue them for a breach of the fair credit reporting act. I was a victim of identity theft which I have substantiated with FTC Affadavit ( notarized ), police reports, letters from city attorneys office, copies of the docket, and they still will not take it off. This is a breach of my rights and is affecting my families ability to buy a home. It was Discmissed, as the person never came back, they filed BK to avoid eviction. My name is incorrect, address is not mine, I had pervasive ID Theft and it was fully substantiated this is the only item that remains. Even though it says dismissed, it counts against me as if I fully claimed BK, which I NEVER HAVE>

Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing issue

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( XXXX ) operated by LexisNexis is reporting incorrect information concerning my driving history. XXXX provided the XXXX Report reference number XXXX. XXXX is incorrectly reporting me as having been in two accidents in XXXX. I haven't been in any accidents in at least 20 years. This incorrect information is costing me approximately $ XXXX in insurance rates. I attempted to contact XXXX/LexisNexis at the telephone number provided by the insurance company and their web portal, and finally through another number. The web portal and automated voice number provide no option for disputing an incorrect report. The web portal only permits you to request a USPS letter that will allow you to THEN request a copy of your information. There is no option to initiate a dispute. I finally spoke to a representative using another number on XX/XX/XXXX. After taking my personal information she explained that she was unable to access my information or to initiate a dispute for me. My information is stored with a special group that she was not permitted to tell me the name of. She could not provide any contact information for the group or information as to why my information was not available. I have also sent email to XXXX/LexisNexis, but have not received even an automated response. While this has not been going on for a long time, I do not see any reason to think that the company even has a dispute resolution process that could result in my information being corrected.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX is currently reporting I owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the date of last activity is XXXX. However, I do not owe XXXX this amount of money. I have disputed the debt in XXXX. I did not get a response from XXXX but XXXX and XXXX removed the account off my credit report. According, to the Federal Fair Credit reporting agency all three bureaus, are supposed to report accurate information. As well as, take 30 days to validate the debt or remove it. I have not received an accurate credit report from XXXX. I have not received a determination from XXXX on this XXXX credit card account. I contact XXXX about this credit card information XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX. They are not reporting this information was ever reported to XXXX. My goal is to build up enough evidence about the reporting of XXXX American people on how these reporting agencies target us and refuse to follow the law. I plan on suing all three credit bureaus on unfair reporting of consistent incorrect information.

Consumer Complaint: I made telephone contact ( XXXX ) with DeptED/XXXX to stop reporting incorrect information to all three credit bureau. The date of the last activity is incorrect. They are no longer the loan servicer for my student loans. I spoke with ( XXXX-agent Id XXXX ) and she informed me that XXXX does not report information after seven years. She explained that no XXXX balance on all accounts. She further asserts this should not be reporting on my credit report and they have not sent any information to the credit bureaus. She told me to send a copy of my credit report to verify what is exactly being report so they can see and make a dispute. XXXX I clearly do not understand why XXXX, Lexis Nexis, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The following loans are out of date : XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX, XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX When reaching out to all credit bureaus XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX all verify the information is correct. These loan amount all affect my debt to income ratio. I do not have any student loans with the Department of Education/XXXX. This company is not a loan servicer. The information should be completely removed from all of my credit reports and they have cost me Loan opportunities DECLINED for home loans due to the debt to income ratio is too high. According, to the Consumer Protection Fair Credit Report all information on all three credit bureaus, must be reported correctly with the same date of last activity, balance amounts, correct address information, and correct date of birth, correct year of birth, and correct address. When calling into Department of EducationXXXX they did not have my correct address, they did not have my correct telephone number, they did not have correct current information. I am going to take my concerns to Court to enforce my rights as a consumer. I have written at least five letters since XX/XX/2020 trying to correct this information.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX Reported me to XXXX XXXX credit Report as having {$620.00} charged off as a bad debt. This is totally incorrect. I HAVE TALKED WITH THEM SEVERAL TIMES. My checks were taken and my signature forged on checks amounting to about {$600.00}. The bank charged me, then took it off and closed my account. Kept the small amount I had left in my account and now reported me as a bad debt. They do not want to resolve the problem and it is affecting my credit report which is also affecting my homeowners insurance.

Consumer Complaint: The account associated with XXXX XXXX XXXX is in litigation and under the settlement, XXXX is required to provide relief to consumers and, moving forward, is required to factor a consumers ability to pay the loan into its underwriting. XXXX will pay {$65.00} XXXX to the 34 participating states which includes Illinois for restitution for certain subprime consumers who defaulted on loans between XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The account number XXXX is included in this current settlement which as a result is required to be removed from all three credit bureaus. For consumers with the lowest quality loans who defaulted as of XX/XX/XXXX and have not had their cars repossessed, XXXX is required to allow them to keep their car and waive any loan balance, up to a total value of {$45.00} XXXX in loan forgiveness. XXXX will also pay up to {$2.00} XXXX for the settlement XXXX who will administer restitution claims and pay an additional {$5.00} XXXX to the states. The settlement also includes significant consumer relief by way of loan forgiveness. In all, XXXX has agreed to waive the deficiency balances for certain defaulted consumers, with approximately {$430.00} XXXX in immediate forgiveness of loans still owned by XXXX, and additional deficiency waivers of loans that XXXX no longer owns but is required to attempt to buy back.

Consumer Complaint: I have tried several times with dispute letters to have this information removed from my credit report. This information has been housed, furnished, and delivered to other companies that are reporting this information without my consent or knowledge. Not only are they reporting it, but it has also been given to other companies outside of my knowledge. This can of reporting I thought is against the FCRA. There are accounts attached to this bankruptcy that being reporting on my report as well.
