Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: I have called and spoke with someone about this issue on the phone. I was told that my claim would be looked into and the information is still appearing on my record. This is not my criminal history being reported to companies when I'm trying to get employment. It's defaming my character and it's very embarrassing. I also have proof from XXXX stating the information they were furnished with came from LexisNexis about my criminal background. Furthermore, I wrote to LexisNexis and asked them to remove this error from my report again. I have not heard from LexisNexis as of yet. My letter was sent in XX/XX/2020.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: XXXX sent a letter dated XX/XX/2021, it states that the results of your investigation of Public Record Information was verified as accurate by LexisNexis, however LexisNexis has provided in writing that they are unable to verify the bankruptcy and therefore has removed the unverifiable bankruptcy from their own data base. There is no way possible that LexisNexis verified this as " accurate '' according to the investigation letter from LexisNexis has evidenced the contrary. Therefore I have requested for XXXX to delete the bankruptcy from my credit report public records and refuse to do so. I do not understand, XXXX uses LexisNexis to verify the bankrupcty, LexisNexis says to me it has been removed because unable to verify, I inform XXXX of such in a dispute to XXXX and XXXX is defiant in removing it because they allege LexisNexis verified as " accurate ''??!?!?!?! I am not sure who is playing games, because if XXXX is stating that Lexis Nexis verified the bankruptcy as accurate so then why did LEXISNEXIS SEND ME A REPORT AND LETTER STATING THEY WERE UNABLE TO VERIFY THE BANKRUPTCY AND HAS BEEN DELETED FROM THEIR OWN DATA. I further request, that XXXX obtain my records and or documentation from LexisNexis proving that this still exists in their data base as verified and as accurate. The FCRA requires credit bureaus to verify the accuracy of credit reporting items, here XXXX has failed to do so. LexisNexis is reporting one story to me and or another story to XXXX. They need to clarify this and therefore have included them in this complaint as well. The other 2 credit bureaus complied when I disputed the same issue here. I have attached correspondence from LexisNexis stating the removal of the bankruptcy as well their report showing that it is no longer on my record. I also provided a letter from the bankruptcy court as well.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX LexisNexis was sent a SECOND letter ( copy attached ) via certified mail in response to the corespondence sent in XXXX XXXX requesting more information involving identity. In addition to the letter LexisNexis was also sent a request form provided by LexisNexis to use to process request as well as ( 2 ) identity copies of state issued drivers license and social security card. On XX/XX/XXXX, LexisNexis sent corespondece that was exactly the same as the response to the first letter that informed them of their illegal activities. The correspondence ( copy attached ) stated that they once again could not process my request for my information and attached the exact same request form that had already been filled out and sent to them XX/XX/XXXX. Then XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a second letter ( copy attached ) from LexisNexis which states that they were " unable to locate '' a file matching my data.

Consumer Complaint: I have called the courts in North Carolina and the law offices where the bankruptcy was started and they stated that this should not have been reported due to me never going thru with the bankruptcy. There is also an accident that is reported and I have had to call XXXX and have them to verify in writing that I was never in an accident. LexisNexis is reporting these things on my credit report and it is inaccurate. It has caused me to have a higher insurance rate. The bankruptcy has caused me not to be hired at a job.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: So, over the last 6-12 months, I have been active in disputing XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX XXXX Account XXXX Both listed on my credit report that are not mine. I have provided proof that these bills belong to someone else and have not been able to get the accounts removed. the credit reporting agency continues to say that the account has been verified, but will not provide the information of verification, when asked they come back and say updated or verified I feel as though XXXX is not doing a real investigation on this matter because if they did, they would see these inaccuracies and delete these accounts from my report. I have clear proof of all my disputes. XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX as of XX/XX/XXXX up until XXXX/XXXX/XXXX they keep reporting that this account was being paid in XXXX of XXXX up until XXXX of XXXX then charged off in XXXX of XXXX but how can that be if the account was 150 days late in XXXX of XXXX? Also, how can I go from paid on time in XX/XX/XXXX then charged off in XX/XX/XXXX? Finally, when I look at the date last active for XXXX it says XX/XX/XXXX, for XXXX says XX/XX/XXXX, and XXXX says XX/XX/XXXX this account has been re-aged and clearly a violation. Please help clear this off my credit report. I also saw another account from XXXX Account XXXX that states that this account was " certified as accurate '' How can this be since I have been asking that all the information for this account be accurate. But as I write to you now its in error and I have been disputing this account since XX/XX/XXXX. Also, XXXX : ACCOUNT # XXXX I asked for the information that showed that I was late but no answer. I just want to make sure my credit report is accurate. They have stated I was 30 days late twice. But my bank account shows that I paid them. Please have them update these late pmts to paid as agreed. XXXX Acct # XXXX This account started at 90 days late and all of my records show that I paid as agreed. Please update all months to paid as agreed because this is hurting my credit score. Moreover, the payment history is in error and I have tried to dispute with this with XXXX and XXXX but to no avail they did nothing.

Consumer Complaint: I am currently shopping for car and home insurance, I learned today that there are 2 car accidents listed on a lexisnexis report that are negatively affecting my rates. Both accidents were listed as not my fault. I have the police reports to confirm this. I tried to contact lexisnexis via a phone number given to me by the insurance agent and another number I found on the web. Their answering service does not allow me to connect to a person. I tried at least a dozen times and most of those the call just disconnected without any action on my part. There is no other contact information on the website, and I would like to know how I can correct the inaccurate information.
