Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity-theft. I am writing to request that you block all the following fraudulent hard inquires in my files with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. This information does not relate to any transactions I made. I did not authorize anyone to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by The Federal Trade Commission, which explicitly states when a victim files an affidavit it shall beg honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information must be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Failure to comply shall lead to complaints being filed with The XXXX XXXX XXXX, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Attorney General with legal action of your companys unlawful collection practices, misrepresentation of reporting inaccurate debts, and noncompliance to adhere to laws enacted to helps who are victims of identity-theft. I request that an extend fraud alert be placed in my file explaining that fraudulent applications may be submitted in my name. Do not extend credit without first contacting me personally and verifying all applications. The below listed accounts by the Original Creditors, who have reported these accounts within my credit reports, were not opened by me. I also did not give my authorization for anyone else to open these accounts. Someone else of who did these that I did not know. Consumer Complaint: On my XXXX report when applying for car insurance it has a history of an at fault accident when I was not the at fault party. I was the victim of a rear end hit and run. I called the police to the scene where they documented the issue. I noted the license plate number of the at fault party and provided the information to the police and my insurance company. This individual never responded to their inquiries. The accident being listed as my fault rather than a non-fault accident impacts the rates that I qualify for on vehicle insurance. It needs to be corrected and I have thus far had no luck in doing so.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent many letters to Lexis Nexis and have not gotten a response other than Results from Reinvestigation and asked them to provide where they got this inaccurate information and they have not response with anything but continue to send me the same form to fill out and not response Asked for the report and got a response on from Lexis Nexis on XX/XX/XXXX. On that report includes a Bankruptcy which is inaccurate and also XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX both are reporting different information that what is on the Lexis Nexis report where they continue to say they are verifying it and clearly but the reports all of them have different informationXXXX XXXX deleted it immediately on XX/XX/XXXX Letters and responses XX/XX/XXXX certified received XX/XX/XXXX Sent a dispute to Lexis Nexis asking to verify this account with physical proof not a general respond. On XX/XX/XXXX I got a lettered dated XX/XX/XXXX saying it was verified and no other information provided as to where and how this was verified. SO I sent another letter to them on XX/XX/XXXX certified received on XX/XX/XXXX asking them to reinvestigate and give me the source of where they are verifying this information. I have contact the courthouse directly and they sent me a letter saying they do not verify so I would love to know how this is being reported and by who. Also how this can be different on Lexis Nexis, XXXX, XXXX ( which deleted it ) and XXXX. No response but a request form that I filled out on XX/XX/XXXX and mailed the copy and also email to the address provided in the documentation and even got a copy of the conformation they got it on XX/XX/XXXX attached here that included a copy of my current drivers license and copy of my social security card. Still no response to this from Lexis Nexis. Still no response from XXXX or XXXX about investigation and where it comes from only that it is verify by Lexis Nexis and still all 3 have different information being reported. I have sent yet again the form filled out again to Lexis Nexis along with copies off all the letters and certified copies on XX/XX/XXXX that they got on XX/XX/XXXX. This is unacceptable and clearly shows inconsistent reporting along with not following the proper procedure to verify and report information on my account cause harm to my credit

Consumer Complaint: In reference to CFPB complaint XXXX XXXX and the letter Lexis/Nexis sent to file in response to the complaint, the investigation by Lexis/Nexis into auto claims information associated with my name was closed by confirming with XXXX that all disputed auto claims were associated with me. This is not true. Lexis/Nexis never asked XXXX if my name could be associated to the claims. I know this because XXXX told me this. The claims person at XXXX helping me today was speaking to the claims person who responded to the Lexis/Nexis re-investigation. All Lexis/Nexis asked XXXX for was a confirmation that the claims in the XXXX database were real. I have never been insured by XXXX. I sold the vehicle involved in XXXX. The claims are from XXXX to XXXX. So this means that XXXX contains erroneous information about vehicle ownership, maybe for 15 years. It also means that I am most likely paying increased premiums for car, apartment, and auto insurance and have been for years. It also means that any background checks to support federal government clearances during the time, unknown, when this information first appeared in XXXX, has most likely resulted in adverse information reported on me when it comes to financial risk.
