Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB representative, According to my XXXX, XXXX and XXXX Credit file I filed for bankruptcy. Before this FALSE INFORMATION was reported, my credit score was a 700+ and my balances were very low. I wasnt having credit issues and no need to file for bankruptcy. However, someone elses bankruptcy is being reported on my credit file. As you can imagine this has drastically impacted my credit score. After speaking with a representative from each company I was advised that the Lexis Nexis Consumer Center and XXXX XXXX XXXX is where they received this false information about a Bankruptcy. However, when I reached out to both of these agencies they either told me that they couldnt find my information or that the bankruptcy had been verified ( They never sent me any proof of verification ). Moreover, XXXX has completely ignored my request to tell me where they received this false information and to remove it. Even after I gave them proof ( letter from the bankruptcy court they have listed on my credit reports ) that they made a mistake and must remove it from my credit report. Frustrated, I decided to contact the Bankruptcy court, and they informed me that they do not provide anyone with a debtors full social security number, and they do not perform any activities with the credit bureaus. They also stated that they couldnt find the case name or number. I have attached documents of proof to this letter. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME RECTIFY THIS MATTER. Consumer Complaint: XXXX continues to show an inaccurate public record - Chap XXXX Bankruptcy on my credit report. XXXX claims they are getting this data from Lexis Nexis and asked me to contact them. I did and after investigation, Lexis Nexis removed this entry from my file. However, XXXX continues to report this entry despite numerous disputes. I have contacted Lexis Nexis and they informed me that they have notified XXXX regarding the update to my file but that they can not control what is being shown by XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX of this year I was notified that Nexus Lexus put false information onto my driving record without a correctly investigating. I reached out to XXXX XXXX who handled the claim and received proof that I was not at fault. Nexus Lexus IS now ignoring my request to investigate proper information. I have reached out to them several times and no response. Please help. I am paying hundreds more on car insurance and its not my fault. I have also reached out to the XXXX of Ohio to try and fix and they said, they dont handle it.

I requested that they send me whatever documents of information that they have personally used to verify this alleged bankruptcy and they have not responded to my request at all. If they can not produce such documents this alleged bankruptcy needs to be removed from my file immediately as it is defaming my charter.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my parked car was hit by another driver. We went through the claim and everything was settled by the driver 's insurance. However, when my insurance renewal comes up, the insurance company informed that a clue report generated by LexisNexis shows that there is at fault accident and suggested that i need to corrected with Lexis Nexis. I have contacted Lexis Nexis and provided the police report in addition to the check sent by the driver insurance. However, Lexis Nexis is refusing to correct this mistake. LexisNexis failed to update its records especially during this time, despite being sued many times over the years for the same reasons. ( Adams v. LexisNexis Risk & Info. Analytics Grp., Inc. , 2010 WL 1931135, at *9 ( D.N.J. May 12, 2010 ) ( denying LexisNexiss motion for judgment on the pleadings ) ; Berry v. LexisNexis Risk & Info.
