Consumer Complaint: I disputed a bankruptcy account on my credit report with XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Both XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX said their source of information certified that the information was reporting correctly on my credit report. However, their source of information, Lexis Nexis, submitted to me a document prior to my dispute stating that they have removed the account from my credit file with them because they could not verify it in the time allowed by the law. On the other hand, XXXX nor XXXX is following the laws in place about credit reporting. Even after I submitted physical proof to them that account was not verified by their source, they continuted to report negative information and continued to report unverified information.

Consumer Complaint: My XXXX XXXX bankruptcy order dismissing the case was filed by the bankruptcy judge XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX it was approved that the chapter XXXX case be statistically closed. I filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy on XX/XX/XXXX and it was discharged on XX/XX/XXXX. I was approved for an auto loan in XX/XX/XXXX by a dealership lender & I traded-in and bought another vehicle in XXXX XXXX & financed this auto loan with my personal XXXX XXXX XXXX In XXXX XXXX, I was denied for a credit card by my credit union for an active chapter XXXX bankruptcy even though they pulled credit 2 months earlier & no saw no active bankruptcy. They said they were using a new credit reporting company and they needed proof of it being discharged. The same day I emailed copies of the judge 's orders and was approved right after. This was a first this had been brought up and assumed they had just made a mistake, so I didn't think much about it until now. XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a store credit card and received an email the next day notifying me that I was denied for active XXXX Now, I have to physically mail a dispute letter, my proof, and then wait weeks for this to " hopefully '' get corrected. What shocks me even more is that I currently already have two other open credit accounts with this same bank and my pervious XXXX XXXX loan. I pulled all three credit reports and I seen it was reported to one credit reporting agency as " Filed '' and immediately filed a dispute with that credit agency. Within my report it states they receive their bankruptcy information from a furnisher, LexisNexis. I have called the bankruptcy automated info line and confirmed it states both cases are dismissed/discharged. How after 4 years since a dismissal can this all the sudden be reported as active on my credit report?

Consumer Complaint: In accordance to 15 usc 1692 cc2 I have invoked my creditor status and notified XXXX, lexisnexis, XXXX, and XXXX that I am creditor over all accounts in the name of XXXX XXXX are to be replaced as paid as agreed never late for all negative accounts. 15 usc 1681b permissible purposes the reporting agency must place or remove what ever the consumer request and has not changed the creditor score to that of a creditor as requested nor has the master or full file requested been received. 28 usc 3304 prevents the transferring of a debt after creation and once sold the debt is no longer to a third party without a contract. So all debt collectors are fraud without contract with consumer.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed a bankruptcy that LexisNexis has listed on my consumer report and they are continuously reporting to the credit bureaus. On XX/XX/2021, I received a letter from LexisNexis stating the LexisNexis investigated and verified that the information was accurate and true. The letter from LexisNexis goes on to inform me that under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I have the right to request a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the disputed information. On XX/XX/2021, I sent a letter certified mail to ensure deliverability requesting LexisNexis provide me their investigative procedure ( Method of Verification ). On XX/XX/2021, at XXXX XXXX. the letter was delivered and the fifteen ( 15 ) days to complete re-investigation and response with the Method of Verification began. As of XX/XX/2021, the 15-day grace period given to respond to my request expired without a response to my request. On XX/XX/2021, I contacted Lexis Nexis via telephone at XXXX and the service rep placed me on hold, and I stayed on hold until the phone hung up. LexisNexis has failed to provide me with the information they informed me I was entitled to under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Therefore, I would like LexisNexis to delete the unverified item from my consumer report and refrain from continually reporting the unverified information to the credit bureaus.
