Consumer Complaint: I contacted XXXX to find out why my insurance rates increased. I was told that the increase was the result of information contained in LexisNexis report. I was instructed that a report could be downloaded from their site for me and my spouse. I submitted my requests via their site and was sent notification by mail to access my information with certain required PINs. The information and PINs received were for both myself and my spouse. We attempted to login using the provided information/PINs and no luck. I attempted to contact LexisNexis via phone in XX/XX/2021 but had zero success. I emailed LexisNexis originally on XX/XX/XXXX and a follow-up email was sent XX/XX/XXXX with zero response from the company. I submitted a XXXX XXXX XXXX complain on XX/XX/2021 and have heard no response from the company. I have not received any correspondence from LexisNexis on what they reported to cause increase in my insurance premiums.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I filed disputes with Lexis nexis on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX of this year and after 30 days they did not resolves the issue. When I call I was given a run around. They keep reporting inaccurate information to my credit report without proof that it is 100 percent my record. This is FCRA violation. These multiple violation go unpunished because Lexis Nexis think they are above the law and do not have to abide by the laws. the method of investigation under fair credit reporting act ( FCRA ) section 611 ( a ) ( 7 ) for the bankruptcy record ( USBK COURT XXXX XXXX ) on my Credit report which was furnish and verified by Lexis Nexis. Under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 7 ), the law afford me a right to accurate and complete investigation. I have a doubt that complete and accurate investigation was done since some of the investigation took only less than 24 hours after disputing with credits bureaus. The FCRA afford me a right to accurate and complete report. If the record is not 100 percent match the furnisher must immediately delete according to FCRA regulation. I do believe that Lexis Nexis mixed up my files with somebody with similar names. Lexis Nexis should furnish me with 100 percent proof that whatever being furnish to XXXX is 100 percent accurate by matching my information with whatever is in those files. Above is my information including my Names, Address ( 17 years at the above address ) and my social with DOB. Under the FCRA 1681e ( b ), furnisher must follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. Matching only the last four digits of my social is not a maximum accuracy and it therefore violates FCRA and recent 11th Appeal court decision. Therefore, I am requesting the method of verification within 15 days stated under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 7 ). I am also requesting that Lexis nexis furnish verifiable proof that this record belong to me. Most important FCRA is very clear about the time frame of investigation. Anything not verifiable within 30 days must be delete from my record.

Consumer Complaint: I've been disputing fraud accounts on my credit report since XX/XX/2020. I keep sending multiple sets of letters to the bureaus and the creditors so the excuse of " we didn't get it '' doesn't happen. Furthermore, each letter is certified mail with tracking and each letter shows signed and delivered and yet the bureaus are still not taking any actions. The accounts are not showing in dispute nor are they removed from my report. The accounts always show up with different name variations and different account number variations and yet the bureaus seem to ignore the trend and let these fraud accounts affect my credit score. I have requested the investigation to be initiated and also verifiable proof to be submitted should the account claim to be mine. Not only have I not received any mail showing the verifiable proofs needed to justify the accounts to be on my report, I haven't even received any letters at all stating the investigations have begun. Per the FCRA and federal law, the process is supposed to be 30 days. 375 days later, I'm still here shelling out money for certified mail with no end in sight and no results to show. This is my last option before I take this up with my lawyers and sue for full compensations and damages incurred. Finally, it seems that when these complaints are submitted, the bureaus are using the excuse that they " can't confirm my identity '' to get away with taking no actions on my credit report. Please investigate this as well.
