Consumer Complaint: I contacted Lexisnexis via certified mail XXXX to verify a bankruptcy they have reported on my report. I asked for the method of verification when they replied it says it was verified but doesnt tell me how or by whom it was verified by. I have since sent another letter on XXXX via regular mail and received a letter saying that I couldnt submit the same dispute I called and left spoke to someone and she said Id receive a call by Mon and I did not. I simply want a method of verification.

Consumer Complaint: letter was sent XX/XX/XXXX, on XX/XX/2021 lexis nexis confirmed it received a certified mail ( dispute letter ) which stated " I am challenging the validity of this alleged bankruptcy you have listed on my reports. I recently challenged this same account with the credit bureaus, and they came back stating that they verified this account with lexis Nexis. I have went to the courthouse and they have also stated they did NOT verify this information, nor do they verify any info with any vendors, third parties or credit bureaus. Please send me what ever documents of information you have personally used to verify this alleged bankruptcy, immediately. If you can not produce such documents this bankruptcy needs to be removed from my file as it is defaming my character '' as of XX/XX/XXXX lexis Nexis has not provided any documentation to prove how they verified the bankruptcies in question, the federal court stated in the letter they provided to me which i provided below that they do not verify any type of information with any third party vendors or credit bureaus. # 1 there is no such thing as a public record for the consumer because you have the right to privacy. thats pursuant to 15 usc 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ) i have attached the law below. if you investigated it tell me who you interviewed and if you interviewed them it should NOT include facts pursuant to 15 usc 1681a. ( e ) corporations cant interview anybody.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a security freeze and opt-out request to LexisNexis Consumer Center in early XXXX. They responded with a series of conflicting, ambiguous correspondence implying there are multiple files, then a few days later send a letter indicating they can not process my request, but fail to indicate which request. I sent a dispute letter on XX/XX/2021, and they failed to answer the dispute. These companies hold a lot of power and can and do affect the livelihood of consumers with the flip of a switch ; I expect their communication to be timely and unambiguous, and in my opinion, the law requires it.

Consumer Complaint: After several unsuccessful attempts during the last 18 months to resolve inaccurate information listed under my name and Social Security Number with Lexis Nexis, on XX/XX/2021, I wrote a formal letter challenging the accuracy of a Bankruptcy Chapter XXXX item in my report along with a letter from California Bankruptcy court indicating they are not the furnisher and original source of the item to Lexis Nexis. I certified mail my letter on XX/XX/2021, and as evident in the attached receipt confirmation, they accepted my letter on XX/XX/2021. As of XX/XX/2021, I have not received any update on their investigation into this item. I have contacted them 3 times in regard to them investigating this item in my report and their failure to complete their investigation within the permitted 30 days allowed by FCRA, and yet they request to call back the next day or simply hangup when I refer to the permitted time by FCRA to complete their investigation. Lexis Nexis Risk Solution is clearly in violation of my Fair Credit Reporting rights.

Consumer Complaint: I purchase an home thru XXXX XXXX XXXX and withdrawal {$75000.00} from my pension while I was fighting for my life from XXXX XXXX went into foreclosure and loss the fight of my home mortgage and the my credit after years of building this score up and then the State of New Jersey , County of XXXX did not help me nor place me in affordable relocated to New York being on Affordable Housing since XXXX or XXXX not place force into the XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and because the lack of support and help score is low and unable to rent on my own and me others who own are force into hardship. Realtors and Tenants think that renting is the same as owning this is not true. Owners are required to meet credit worth be required for down payment and meet other requirements. With Tenants thinks because they pay security if that or they get Human Resources to pay is that is the same the requirements are extremely different and this should be different requirements for previous owners and those who loss the home due to sickness with rents many entitled to resources that individuals with middle-class income are not entitled. Consumer Complaint: I asked for a full investigation of a bankruptcy reporting to my credit file. I asked for documentation and proof of the investigation. I want to know the source of the information. I contacted the US Bankruptcy Court and was informed that they do not report to any other company or credit bureaus. The only one entity that could officially verify the bankruptcy has verified that they did not. So I am confused why LexisNexis is providing this information for it to be furnished to my credit report. If the US Bankruptcy Court did not report this and there was no permissible purpose to furnish this information then a bankruptcy should not be on my consumer report

Consumer Complaint: Needing to understand what information the service had after denying my historical pristine credit ( they have a XXXX score for me that I have never even been close to in my life ), I requested a report. There process is designed to prevent you from ever seeing the data. After ordering the report - which must be sent by mail - the mailed password provided to access my credit report - get this : On-line - was not valid or active. Attempts to reach the agency to determine why they sent an invalid pin are virtually impossible. The wait times are horrendous and they never answer your call, or disconnect you while you are in queue waiting. Its all designed with one intent - to make you give up.

Lexis Nexis provided me the information needed to access my report online. I do not have frequent access to a computer. I explained that in a previous letter to them. In XX/XX/2021, I received a letter from Lexis Nexis asking for copies of my Drivers license, social security card, and a utility bill. I provided said information. On today XX/XX/2021, I received a letter like THE PREVIOUS LETTER OF HOW TO ACCESS MY CONSUMER INFORMATION. As I stated before, I do not have frequent access to a computer ; my nearest XXXX or such store is over 15 miles from my house. I am not sure why Lexis Nexis is refusing to provide me a copy of my consumer information in the US mail.
