I have contacted them for methods of verification on the bankruptcy case they are reporting to others. They have not yet responded to where they have confirmed this information with. And it is to my understanding that they are in violation of 1. 15 usc 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ) Infringed Upon a Consumers right to privacy 2. 15 usc 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ) No Permissible purpose/ No written instruction

Consumer Complaint: In 2020 LexisNexis submitted a report to the Kansas Department Of Labor in response to an application for assistance. LexisNexis gave them a consumer report for me that had an incorrect social security number. As such I was investigated for fraud and never received my funds and due to staffing shortages I am still in the appeals process two years later because of this report. XXXX actually told me this in a recorded call and gave me their information to call. Upon doing so - again on a recorded line I spoke to someone named XXXX who wouldn't process my request for a consumer report but also screamed at me and called me a " XXXX liar and XXXX never told you to call here '' then hung up. So I called back a few times- each time the same person answered and began playing manipulative games with me. To beat him I called their number from my wife 's phone while I still had him on the line and he somehow was still the same person to pick up while still on a different line with me. I have sent multiple requests in writing to receive a copy of my consumer report so that I can correct their information and each time they use a different stall tactic. For instance the first time they sent me a letter stating I had not provided an ID with my request ( there wasn't an option ) and to call them. I did so and then receive a blank piece of paper and a paper with a link and pin. Upon doing so it doesn't work. Meanwhile I have also been declined for checking accounts as well as apartments that have used their service. They have an entire other consumers information mixed with mine and have provided that information to agencies that have in turn reported it to my credit report and after hundreds of hours of trying to get this sorted out they stall me at every turn. My life is completely on hold from any level of actual productive results from my efforts.

Consumer Complaint: I have called LexisNexis 2 to 3 times for my full disclosure consumer credit reporting file to be fully printed and mailed to me via USPS mail. They only sent a letter with an access code and the access code never workers and not an actual copy of my credit report that they are reporting. They are prohibiting me from accessing my report. They violated the fair credit reporting act 15 USC 1681 Stating : that i the consumer have the right to ask for a credit report ; Credit reports are numerical summaries of your credit-worthiness based on information from " credit bureaus '', by not fulfilling my request for a copy of my full printed disclosure credit report again they are in violation. Also code 15 USC 1681B permissible purpose of consumer report ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting ( 2 ) An elaborate mechanism has been developed for investigating and evaluating thecreditworthiness, creditstanding, creditcapacity, character, and general reputation ofconsumers.. LexisNexis is " verifying '' a bankruptcy that was done in private to third party companies like XXXX, XXXX and XXXX etc. when in fact I never gave them nor LexisNexis written permission to even report this. Bankruptcy is NOT a public record. And the bankruptcy court by law will not report this either because they know the law too. This is private information and it was done in private. Consumer Complaint: I disputed the inquiries online with XXXX and was advised credit inquiries were factual that stay on record for two years but was advised to file a report with the FTC, however, I was directed to the CFPB website. I contacted XXXX via phone and tried to dispute the inquiries with them directly. I tried getting in contact with XXXX, however, I didn't have any luck. Also, some accounts reporting on my credit file with bankruptcy have been disputed several times, but have yet to be removed from XXXX and XXXX, it has already been removed from XXXX. I will attach my credit file and it will show the accounts listed on each credit bureau. Also, I wanted to dispute addresses, spellings of names, and employers on my credit file.
