Consumer Complaint: Please HELP! I have been trying to reach someone at LexisNexis for a month now. I have send certified mail with a return confirmation receipt and yet to receive it. I have asked where did they get my public information from they have yet to provide me with a response. I have mailed them a letter from the courts stating that the XXXX XXXX XXXX does not report to the credit bureau. I have mailed them a letter stating that I never gave them any consent to report any of my information and yet to receive any help. To report a item on a consumer credit report you have to have consent. LexisNexis has yet to provide me with any type of documentation where I authorize my concern to report anything to the XXXX major credit bureau. It really unlawful how they continue to report a public record that I never gave them permission to do so.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a dispute in writing of bankruptcy case being inaccurately reported on my credit and consumer reports. This dispute was met with a response from Lexis Nexis stating they could verify my identification and to send documentation for dispute to process. On XX/XX/XXXX I disputed the same two bankruptcies and attached evidence from the court 's website. This was sent via fax, email and mail. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a response attaching url link to view consumer report. It did not mention my dispute in any nature. On XX/XX/XXXX after no response to my two previous disputes I called an did a dispute of every item over the phone. In response dated XX/XX/XXXX to that telephone dispute I received correspondence stating " after a reinvestigation of the data in question, LexisNexis updated bankruptcy case number XXXX listed on your LexisNexis report. '' Although the reference both LexisNexis case numbers in the letter, they fail to mention the both investigations and actions. Further, they can not use a dispute to update clearly inaccurate information. They must delete any and all unverified and inaccurate information per FCRA. They have also failed to respond within the federally granted 30 days. They have not deleted any of my inaccurate personal information like name misspellings, incorrect/outdated addresses, and private banking and insurance information. Who my car is insured with is NOT for public record and I prefer to remain private. Who I bank with is NOT for public record and I prefer to remain private. I have not given this agency any authorization to run any form of data purchasing, sharing, selling or storing of my personal and consumer information. In their response dated XX/XX/XXXX they clearly acknowledged they discovered data was unverified. Yet used that time to update my consumer report with inaccurate information again. A criminal case can not be reported under driving record segments per the CRRG. They are simply seeking out information from internet searches of like names and addresses. This does not meet identification verification purposes per FCRA. In closing, the bankruptcies they are reporting are not even reporting in my name.

Consumer Complaint: I have reached out ( made several attempts ) to reach the team at LexisNexis and XXXX regarding ordering a certified copy of my birth certificate. As requested on their website, I uploaded a picture of my current driver 's license in order to verify my identity. I placed the birth certificate order using the name that matches my driver 's license and the name that matches the credit card I inputted on their site to cover the processing fee. -- Because I knew that there was a name variation on my original birth certificate, I included the name given AT BIRTH on the order form. -- My order was REDFLAGGED due to the name variation, and I have been bombarded with non-stop interrogations by XXXX 's XXXX XXXX regarding the name variation. The name that I currently use has been in use for over 50 years -- from elementary through college. It is consistent with the name shown on my social security card and is consistent with all other governmental agencies. XXXX, a division of LexisNexis should not be used as an extension of any local or state agency 's records processing. Their Customer Service team is abusive and offensive to the public at large.
