Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis provided a report to our insurance company that gave banking information indicating a problem resulting in a lower rate. I pulled the reports from Lexis Nexis that indicated an insurance inquiry but no banking items. FIRST issue is that neither company disclosed the credit reporting agency the banking information came from, which is illegal under the credit reporting act. SECOND issue is that my report has someone else 's information on it. Our social security numbers are off by one number and we have the same first name. I have already resolved this with the three credit bureaus over the years. THIRD issue is the information Lexis Nexis is providing without my consent to me or the other woman involved. I now have her social security number, drivers license number, car VIN number as well as her husband 's information. She has the option to receive the same information for me. Lexis Nexis is providing my information WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Lexis Nexis told me today I don't exist although they provided me a report when I requested it and expect me to jump through hoops to prove I do. I have a REAL ID drivers license which I already jumped through hoops to get, which should be used to verify the information. I need Lexis Nexis to follow privacy laws, stop combining reports of unrelated people, disclose reporting agencies, and issue me a corrected report.

The updated /verified reports still includes major errors/ incorrect information. Record number 6 and Record number 8 in the Identification Records section are incorrect. And The following information from the Department of Driver Service Records... The information contained in the entry is 100 % inaccurate and does not belong to me! The name indicated on the record is not my name : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The date of birth indicated is not mine. 2. The drivers license number is not mine. 3. The violation details do not belong to me. ( I have never lived in Arizona, visited Arizona, or committed any crimes in Arizona. )

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I made a complaint about LexisNexis reporting inaccurate fraudulent and deceptive information XXXX is the original complaint number. LexisNexis came back to the cfpb stating that the information that they were giving out could NOT be verified so by law they have to delete this information. But come to find out LexisNexis was very deceptive they in fact did Not delete this information and they are in fact still reporting this information to all three credit bureaus. I asked LexisNexis to delete this information from ALL of their systems. Also to send this information to all three credit bureaus who they reported/sold this information to stating this information was inaccurate.LexisNexis failed to do anything that they said that they done and this is very deceptive. I have spoke to LexisNexis several times and they are stating to me that they do not have to delete this information out of their unverified side of their company and that they do not have to follow the cfpb rules with an unverified information. But if the information is unverifiable How are they still verifying this information with anyone if they can not verify it. LexisNexis is falsifying information using deceptive practices also knowingly and willingly disregarding the law. I have upload a paper from them stating that they have deleted this information I will also show a new credit report where it is still being verified by Lexis Nexis. LexisNexis time frame to do there so-called investigative report has expired I'm demanding that they delete this information within XXXX hours or else I will seek remedy I also attached a copy of my passport because LexisNexis always try to say that I did not send proper identification to verify who I am
