A customer service rep named XXXX sent me an email outside of the cfpb complaint. I gave no permission to email me directly. You're reporting inaccurate information my report on an acct with XXXX XXXX. They notified me that you didn't submit a dispute with them. How did the dispute come back verified if you did an actual investigation. Stop using eoscar and do a proper investigation. This is defamation of character and you're required to report accurate information on my file. You're breaking the law.

Consumer Complaint: I recently disputed a bankruptcy with LexisNexis and they were not able to verify this information so they deleted this Bankruptcy from their records. I took the letter they sent me and I opened a dispute with XXXX and XXXX by mail. They both came back stating that the bankruptcy was verified by LexisNexis. Both companies also told me that LexisNexis needs to send them a letter stating they have removed the Bankruptcy from their records. I called LexisNexis and they told me they don't do that. When I called both XXXX and XXXX to tell them what LexisNexis said, they BOTH said that this is the only way they can verify that this Bankruptcy has been removed. I'm asking that LexisNexis report the bankruptcy removal to XXXX and XXXX and send me a letter confirming they did that. Their false reporting is in direct violation of my FCRA rights and has caused me years of stress and my mental health has declined and has caused me to pay extremely high interest rates and has prevented me from buying a home. I'm currently in communication with an FCRA Consumer Lawyer to go over my options with all three companies.

I called LexisNexis twice and I emailed them to get a copy of the report they summitted with wrong information ( XXXX Reference # XXXX ) and my must recent credit report that I am entitle to see. They have denied both reports even when I have provided all my personal information including SSN, Date of Birth, Address, etc. They always claim that they need more information from me and because of that, they are not able to process my request. This law also states Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information : ( 1 ) Cases under title 11 or under the Bankruptcy Act that, from the date of entry of the order for relief or the date of adjudication, as the case may be, antedate the report by more than 10 years. 15 usc 1681b Permissible purposes of consumer reports. This violation states that without written permission from the consumer ( me ). Lexis Nexis is a consumer reporting agency that violates all consumers.

Consumer Complaint: My insurance with XXXX XXXX XXXX auto insurance was cancelled due the number of incorrect points reported to the XXXX that was placed on my Indiana Driving record and incorrect information such as suspended license reported to the XXXX XXXX. This inaccurate information reported to the XXXX caused my auto insurance with XXXX XXXX XXXX to be cancelled and increase of insurance fees when I went to get new auto insurance coverage from XXXX XXXX. I was told this would be the case with any insurance company because of my driving record. I explained to XXXX XXXX agent assistant that the information from the XXXX is inaccurate and gave XXXX XXXX a copy of my driving record that stated I completed a driving class and that my driving record from the XXXX should show 2 points as well as no suspended license, but the XXXX did not update the information so the information they are reporting out to other agencies is inaccurate. XXXX XXXX Insurance Assistant states they get their information from Lexis Nexus and that I should call and inform them that inaccurate information is being reported due to the XXXX not updating the information in their system. I contacted LexisNexis but have not got a response as well as Consumer Credit reporting agency to inform them of the inaccurate information that is being reported on my credit report and other reports. All this incorrect information is due to the XXXX not updating the records on my driving report. When spoke to the XXXX they stated there was nothing they could do because they do not enter the information into the system. I pointed out the discrepancies on the report to the rep at the XXXX XXXX and all she states she could do is give the number to call to ask that the information be changed, updated and accurate.
