Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, am filing this complaint against LexisNexis for violating my rights as a consumer and not responding to a letter sent to them on XX/XX/2022. ( attached labeled as Exhibit A ). After viewing my consumer report, I find that two U. S. Bankruptcy Court items listed/being reported. Per the FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 5 ) : " If a credit reporting agency can not VALIDATE the information with the ORIGINAL CREDITOR, they must remove said information from the consumer file. U. S. Bankruptcy Court of MO and U.S. Bankruptcy Court of IL has both mailed me letters ( attached labeled as Exhibit B and Exhibit C ), which emphatically stated that they do NOT provide any information to credit reporting agencies, nor do they ever validate and/or confirm public records. It is the credit reporting agencies and/or other third party providers who collect personal information regarding public cases from public records. Public records information is NEVER validated by the U. S. Court system due to the FCRA PRIVACY LAW. My inquiry to the U. S. Bankruptcy Courts confirmed that LexisNexis has NEVER validated or verified this public record entry on my credit report, neither will they ever be by them. They further stated while they are not liable or responsible for any MISUSE or INCORRECT public records, nor the distribution of said information, public records may, and oftentimes are, reported by the third party sources unaware to the consumer. Considering the information indicating multiple FCRA violations, I need all bankruptcy information DELETED from my credit report immediately. LexisNexis needs to provide me with copies of ALL DOCUMENTATION associated with the Public Record Accounts bearing my signature. In the meantime, to be in full compliance with the FCRA laws and guidelines, all the information listed under " Public Records '' needs to be immediately deleted from the credit file that LexisNexis maintains under my name and social security number. Per Federal Law, LexisNexis had 30 days to complete the investigation as outlined per FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 3 ). Also per the FCRA Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ), LexisNexis is required by federal law to verify through physical verification of the ORIGINAL SIGNED CONSUMER CONTRACT and/or judgement ( s )- all accounts and public information that they post on anyone 's credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail, email in fraudulent and erroneous account information. As such, if this unauthorized public records information is not deleted from my credit report within the next fifteen ( 15 ) days, I will be filing a complaint with my State Attorney General and also contacting my lawyer to file small claims actions against LexisNexis for 1 ) Defamation ; 2 ) Negligent Enhancement of Identity Fraud ; 3 ) Violation of the FCRA and CFPB.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22 i was applying for a mortgage- since I had to unlock all three credit bureaus for this mortgage application, I decided to submit an application to XXXX XXXX at the same time. I received a letter a few weeks later indicating it was written on XX/XX/22 that XXXX XXXX did NOT approve my credit application at this time because they were advised by " the credit reporting agency '' ( non specific ) that a security / credit freeze was placed on my report. That " unfortunately, due to the freeze on your credit bureau report we were unable to verify your credit history with other credit grantors '' A few weeks later as I was closing on my loan my bank enquired about a HARD ENQUIRY on my XXXX credit file from XXXX XXXX. It is my understanding under FCRA that a locked credit file would not be capable of having a hard enquiry against it unless it were unlocked. I have a denial letter from XXXX XXXX telling me they denied me credit because of a locked credit file, but I also have a hard enquiry from XXXX XXXX showing that they acceessed my credit- IT CAN NOT BE BOTH WAYS. The hard enquiry should be rescinded and removed from my credit file since XXXX says they could not access it - OR - the credit card should have been issued - OR denied for a legitimate reason besides credit lock if they were able to access my XXXX Credit Report as XXXX currently indicates. XXXX cites XXXX XXXX LExisNExis Risk Solutions Consumer Center as the agency that provided this report - This complaint would be inclusive of the credit reporting agency that XXXX XXXX Uses and cites in their letter whom I have never heard of. XXXX/Lexis Nexis indicated at the time I had no credit lock on file with them, XXXX indicates they pulled my credit on XXXX at the time of application ( in which all three known bureaus were unlocked and XXXX / LexisNExis had no security freeze on file ). These bureaus are engaging in reporting false information, possibly due to some time lag in how they actually pull credit and report it which they are unaware of.

Consumer Complaint: I have reached out and disputed inaccurate information that is reporting on my credit report with XXXX for the last 6 months, a bankruptcy. I have reached out to XXXX via telephone on multiple occasions to get this resolved with no success. Every representative at XXXX, XXXX website, and LexisNexis website says they receive Bankruptcy information from LexisNexis. I have received documents from LexisNexis regarding this bankruptcy that XXXX has reported. This Bankruptcy is not reporting on my LexisNexis and it is not mine. I have received documents from the courthouse as well that say they do not report to any credit bureaus. On every occasion that I have reached out via the telephone with an XXXX representative, they mentioned the information is coming from LexisNexis. I have also reached out to LexisNexis and they said this is not coming from them. I spoke with XXXX on XX/XX/2022, and she said I needed documents from the courthouse and LexisNexis. I have supplied these documents multiple times to XXXX. XXXX said her supervisor, XXXX needed a document from the courthouse saying the Bankruptcy is not mine. I have provided that document as well. I also requested the documents they receive to verify the bankruptcy, XXXX sent me a credit report and mention they don't send consumers documents they use to verify this information There is currently an active lawsuit in California against XXXX XXXX LexisNexis due to the inconsistent information and violation of the FCRA laws. I will be reaching out to my XXXX officials regarding this matter if XXXX does not remove this Bankruptcy from my credit report. I have attached all of the necessary documents XXXX has been requesting to remove this and I attached LexisNexis website as well.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Lexus Nexus last year by email. I provided my information for them to identify me and I was replied to by saying I could request my consumer report. So I decided to call and asked if they verified my Bankruptcy and the first rep told me no that the Credit Bureaus did. I told her that is was impossible because two of the Bureaus said it was either the Bankruptcy court or Lexus Nexus. So I ended up having to call back. The second rep told me when I ask was that it was the Bankruptcy court that verified my Bankruptcy. So when I asked for proof of that so I can give it to the Bureaus amd court. I was denied that information because they said it was no way to provide me with that information unless I as for a consumer report. So I decided to write them and provide my information again to prove my identity and I received a letter again telling me that they couldn't authenticate my identity. Which I find strange, because when I call them that 1 time they only asked me for my last for digits of my social, address, name, amd DOB. And that's the same information I provided in the email originally. I also must add that along with the letter sent was copies of my License and Social Security card
