Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I have filed seeveral disputes to remove a bankruptcy on my credit file XXXX had this information updated but XXXX and XXXX has not removed. I have contact my lock Bankruptcy court.Lexis Nexis who verified they have not supplied an personal information to any 3rd party! I also contacted pacer the source of public record whom also informed the same I have provided and supplied proof and statements from all sources and demand that the bankruptcy be deleted fro my file immediately. public records reported on credit reports must be checked by the credit bureaus for updates every 90 days to ensure their accuracy. If the records are not checked, they should be removed from the credit report. Bankruptcy records already hold these strict requirements, which is why the changes dont impact this type of public record. According to 15 U.S.C. 1681 The Credit Reporting Agencies were NEVER given the role to furnish credit reports ; they ASSUMED the role. This is exactly why CONGRESS implemented the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT.

All of the companies are committing racketeering and need to be punished by law. All of these companies are reporting an alleged public record with my name attached to it and need to delete it immediately. I've given no consent for any of these companies to have and/or share any alleged information about myself. This not only is a violation of my privacy but also many other violations in the FCRA and The Gramm Leach Bliley Act. If this situation is not corrected immediately, I will not hesitate to get this rectified in FEDERAL COURT

Consumer Complaint: Under 15 U.SXXXX Code 1681 Section 602 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I have a lawful right to privacy. See : 15 U.S. Code 1681 Section 602- Congressional findings and statement of purpose ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting The Congress makes the following findings : ( XXXX ) There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. Additionally, under 15 U.S. Code 1681b Section 604, a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a consumer report without written instructions from the consumer. I have never provided written instructions to LexisNexis to furnish my consumer report any person. See : 15 U.SXXXX Code 1681b Section 604- Permissible purposes of consumer reports ( a ) In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( XXXX ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Also under 15 U.S. Code 1681c Section 605, there are requirements relating to information contained in consumer reports. See : 15 U.S. Code 1681c Section 605XXXX Requirements relating to information contained in consumer reports ( a ) Information excluded from consumer reports Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information : ( XXXX ) Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years Under 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) Section 623, it is the duty of the furnishers of information to provide accurate information. See XXXX5 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) Section 623- Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies ( a ) Duty of furnishers of information to provide accurate information ( 1 ) Prohibition ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Upon reviewing my credit reports, I inquired about and disputed Account Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXy XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ( see attachments ). The response I received in black and white from all XXXX XXXX is that the account was furnished and verified by LexisNexis ( see attached documents ). Lexis Nexis is a consumer reporting agency not the court system. I have reached out to Lexis Nexis ( see attachments ) and also to the " said '' court system whose info is located on my report with this account. The Court system made it very clear in their letter back to me that they do not subscribe to or report records with any consumer reporting agency. Lexis Nexis has violated my right to privacy by furnishing this account. I have never given Lexis Nexis written instructions to furnish my consumer report to anyone so they further violate me in this way. Furthermore, as it relates to information contained in my consumer report, the law says that adverse items pertaining to crime may be reported and none other, not to mention the discrepancies sited across all XXXX XXXX with this account ( see attachments )
