Consumer Complaint: XXXX is the credit rating company that my auto/home insurance company , XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX uses to set rates for its insured members. During an annual review from CC, the letter mentioned that our rates were higher because of the credit rating from XXXX XXXX Having just secured a loan for the purchase of a new XXXX and having secured one of the highest credit ratings the seller had ever seen, I found this news disturbing so I contacted XXXX, got a copy of their report and asked them three times to change their credit assessment. Each time, I got a form letter saying they could not " authenticate my identity '' and that the info I supplied -- addresses, copy of my driver 's license, phone numbers, credit card companies, mortgage company and bank addresses, etc. were " not legible '' even though typed and copied clearly. I gave them all the info they asked for in a two-paged typed letter, including the last four digits of my SS number, passport, copy of my driver 's license, etc. No action from them, just another form letter. In addition their report was filled with inaccuracies, omissions and blank pages and shoddy research. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I received a letter captioned LexisNexis, informing me that [ 1 ] report ( s ) of negative information added to your file. This letter instructed me to access : XXXX XXXX XXXX and after reviewing the information requested they claimed I would receive a US Mail letter with additional information explaining how to access this negative information electronically. On XX/XX/2022 I mailed a complaint letter to LexisNexis denying any knowledge of any negative information, stating never being aware that I even had an account in my name and wondering if this could be some sort of phishing fraud. By copy of this letter I requested the Colorado Attorney Generals ' office to verify if this was indeed a scam of some sort. The Attorney Generals office replied in todays mail, stating they would keep my information on file and referred me to your good offices. Since there has been no response from LexisNexis to-date, I am concluding more strongly that this is some sort of scam or fraudulent attempt to obtain personal information about me.

Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis is providing misleading instructions to resolve system errors. To gain access to your consumer file, submit a request online, wait for PIN via mail, Validate PIN, then I assume you gain access. When the provided PIN does not validate, the instructions state the only way to resolve is to speak with a live representative. The phone number provided XXXX connects to a recorded message that loops with no option to speak with a live representative. When you call the general contact number XXXX, selecting the prompts that direct you to the consumer side of the business routes the call to the same looped message. How are consumers supposed to resolve issues if Lexis Nexis has made it impossible to speak to a live representative?
