Consumer Complaint: I have sent and placed several telephone calls to XXXX and XXXX regarding the Bankruptcy that listed on my credit report that I am requesting to have deleted immediately and a financial compensation of {$3000.00} granted to me due to the financial harm it has caused me. Over the past several years the alarming rise in identity theft due to security breaches arising in part from the growing amount of personal data on individuals that is now available electronically through public sources, has prompted the federal courts to amend the Bankruptcy Rules 1005 and 2002, which took effect XX/XX/XXXX. I have recently been contacted by XXXX that my information was exposed in their data breach in addition to my personal information being compromised in the XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX data breaches. These rule changes require the United States Trustees and the XXXX XXXXXXXX trustees to change certain procedures relating to debtor identification. Rule 1005 was amended to implement the Judicial Conferences privacy policy limiting disclosure of a debtors full Social Security number ( SSN ) on bankruptcy petitions to only the last four digits. Because of this fact, how can the Credit reporting bureaus verify that the bankruptcy based on this policy utilizing the XXXX system belongs to me by reviewing the last 4 digits of a social security number. Also, Rule 2002 ( a ) ( 1 ) was amended to require the Bankruptcy Clerk to include the debtors full SSN on the Section 341 meeting notice that is sent to creditors, the U.S. Trustee, and the case trustee, but not on the Section 341 meeting notice that becomes part of the court record. Again, because of this fact, how can the Credit reporting bureaus verify that the bankruptcy based on this policy utilizing the XXXX system belongs to me if my full social security number is not included in the court record. In addition, I am attaching a letter from XXXX XXXX who is a XXXX party data furnisher for XXXX, and they do not have a record of me in their system. I have submitted a request to XXXX XXXX on 3 occasions and each time have been told that there is no record on file for me. I am also attaching an email from the XXXX USCOURTS branch, and it states that XXXX does not contact consumer reporting and credit reporting agencies. XXXX simply provides access to federal court records.
