Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly request your assistance in removing some information from my account. According to the law, medical bills under {$500.00} are supposed to be removed and it is a violation of my rights under 15 US code 1681 and 15 US code 1681b to have this information present. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could suppress any negative information and update the report accordingly. I understand that it is illegal to place a charge off on a report and send a 1099-C to the debtor. Furthermore, I have noticed that the reporting across the bureaus is not accurate, and I kindly request that the information be removed immediately. I have attached the relevant report for your reference. Finally, I would like to raise a concern regarding the difficulty in accessing my online account. I believe it is unfair to have to pay to see my own data, and I would appreciate if the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau could investigate this matter. I would greatly appreciate it if you could attend to this matter as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and assistance. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I initiated a dispute on credit report to the credit bureaus asking if they report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got a letter stating The company that reported the information has certified to XXXX that the information is accurate. To date, I have not heard back for the dispute with the other agencies. How did the credit bureaus verify my bankruptcy as 100 % accurate? I do not believe a fair investigation was conducted according to the 15 USC 1681. 15 USC 1681 section 603 ( 3 ) ( E ) States ; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. They also violated my rights numerous times. The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 USC 1681. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instruction. According to : 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.
