Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis Kept disregarding my disputes, by telling me they want me to send them a proof of id verification, last check stub, and cell phone bill. I sent them a certified letter, and they never responded. Attached is copy of driver license, copy of phone bill, copy of last check stub. The matter is a bankruptcy, I contact the bankruptcy courts in XXXX and they responded with a letter that I will attach below. They dont provide court records to credit bureaus. >I have previously disputed this item with you > XXXX XXXX XXXX MICHIGAN. Reference # XXXX < and in response you verified the item as accurate, stating that you have verified the information with the court. I contacted the court and their response is enclosed. It is clear they do not report to you or to any credit bureau for that matter ; therefore your original response verifying the item with the court was either an error or a lie. Either way, the reporting requirements do not comply with FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 16811 ) and the information must be deleted immediately.<

Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis document listed me as a male. As a born female, I requested on multiple verbal communication, certified mail with copied proof of state-issued id and social security card to have my name corrected. After multiple attempts failed, I certified mail their LEGAL TEAM of this concern. The first request was in XX/XX/XXXX, I requested name correction, gender correction, an apology letter, and monetary compensation. As of XX/XX/XXXX, this company has only updated my name and gender. I AM STILL WAITING FOR AN APOLOGY LETTER, MONETARY COMPENSATION, AND THE DELETION OF THE ENTIRE FILE. THE FILE SHOULD ONLY HAVE AN ACCURATE NAME, CURRENT ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, DOB, LAST 4 OF SSN, AND GENDER FEMALE.

Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter dated XX/XX/21 from United States XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX of Tennessee stating that they DO NOT have any procedure for reporting, verifying, or removing records with the credit reporting agencies such as XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Signed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX several times to all XXXX credit bureaus. .All have used stall tatics and letters of correspondence not to process or fully process my dispute, Now that I have contacted the source of the court on my own behalf and received notice that they DO NOT have any procedure for reporting, verifying, or removing records with the credit reporting agencies such as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX and they are using and retrieving data information from a " third party '' verification system, which my letter of verification has come directly from the source listed on my credit profile. Not that I have gone to Lexis Nexis they want to stall the process dispute as well it looks because they are claiming to need " Additional Documents and information to authenticate my identity. So I am attaching proof of identity to promptly process this complaint because it is clearly a violation of 1681 ( a ) ( 5 ) to keep reporting it on my credit profile, considering it does not require an reinvestigation. I would appreciate your response promptly. I should not be still fighting this issue another year later. I have attached XXXX or more copies to authenticate my identity to process my complaint.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, my identity was stolen and used to file taxes and in XXXX, my identity was used to apply for loans, credit cards, and only God knows what else according to my knowledge. As I'm not exactly sure who nor when, I can only assume it's due to the black web and also when my personal information was auctioned off in a storage unit that I lost in XXXX. I immediately placed an initial fraud alert on all XXXX of my credit files with all XXXX major credit bureaus. I then signed up for credit monitoring and I have filed an ID theft affidavit and a police report. Your help would greatly be appreciated to resolve this issue. As you well know it is a violation of the FCRA to report erroneous information and accounts without original contracts with signatures. I ask that you validate these debts fully so that this issue may be resolved immediately. In XXXX and XXXX, the Big 3 CRAs stopped reporting public records and tax liens as part of three nationwide class action settlements. As a result, LexisNexis has decided to take advantage of the major consumer reporting agencies decision to stop selling LexisNexiss data by marketing and selling its public record data in its own consumer reports. Up until now, LexisNexis uses automated procedures and vendors to collect information regarding judgments and tax liens that undergo little to no quality control, and such information is not adequately updated nor correct. LexisNexis continues to disregard inadequate procedures despite consumer disputes, and instead of rectifying it, they rely on consumers to clean up their own files via the dispute process after learning of any inaccuracy rather than ensuring that the data it was collecting was accurate in the first place. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681g, I have the right to demand that you disclose to me all the documents that you have recorded and retained in your file at the time of this request concerning the accounts that you are reporting in my consumer report. Please dont respond to my request by saying that these accounts have been verified. Send me copies of the documents that you have in your files that were used to verify them. If you do not have any documentation in your files to verify the accuracy of these disputed accounts then please delete them immediately as required under FCRA Section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( A ) ( i ). Under the FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681i, all inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified accounts must be promptly deleted. Please be aware that in several cases, the courts clearly ruled that the credit reporting agencies couldn't merely parrot information from the creditors, collection agencies, and other sources. All credit reporting agencies must conduct an independent and reasonable investigation to ensure the validity of the debt in dispute. Do NOT shift the burden back to me, the consumer, to contact the original creditor to furnish verification. Also, pursuant to FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ), if a consumer disputes an account, it must be marked as disputed. By publishing these inaccurate, incomplete, and unverified items on my credit report and distributing them to 3rd parties you are damaging my reputation and credit worthiness. Therefore, this is my formal notice of intent to sue for your violations of the FCRA and I am seeking full remedy for damages. I am formally demanding {$20000.00} monetary compensation and deletion of allnegative accounts due to defamation of character and denial of credit. If my demands are not met, a civil suit will be filed in small claims court in Georgia XXXX XXXX. Consumer Complaint: I've been dealing with this for a long as I started looking at my credit since XXXX. My mother had the same name as me. Her information always came on my report. Her past employment. Addresses. Social security numbers and collections. Every time I dispute it they delete and the next day another thing of hers is on my report again. I sent out letters and my picture ID 2 weeks ago to all bureaus and lexis nexus. Yesterday XX/XX/XXXX after I disputed addresses that belonged to her and her married name showed up on my reports. This morning my report updated that my oldest account was XXXX XXXX XXXX an education loan taken out in XXXX. I was born XXXX. Every time they delete something it comes back. I was denied a mortgage loan because it's a mess. I filed for identity theft end of XX/XX/XXXX. I put fraud alerts on my reports. XXXX I sent pictures of my social security and license to XXXX. It just keeps happening.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom it May Concern, I am writing to inform you that upon reviewing a copy of my consumer report file, I have noticed several items that are erroneous, inaccurate, and illegal. Therefore, I am requesting the description of the procedure used to validate the accuracy and completeness of these items on my consumer report. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ), credit reporting agencies dont have the right to report anything on a consumers credit file that isnt in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer. If you cant furnish verifiable proof with my signature on it, you have committed an illegal act and according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681a ( q ) ( 3 ), this is enabling IDENTITY THEFT. As a consumer exposed to identity theft, by law you must BLOCK this information from my file immediately once youve been notified according to 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 within 4 days. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681g, I have the right to demand that you disclose to me all the documents that you have recorded and retained in your file at the time of this request concerning the accounts that you are reporting in my consumer report. Please dont respond to my request by saying that these accounts have been verified. Send me copies of the documents that you have in your files that were used to verify them. Consumer Complaint: I reached out to the company because I saw that multiple credit reporting agencies fraudulently obtained my information and fraudulently accessed my consumer reports and made entries to my reports. I OPTED OUT, pursuant to 15 USC 6802, 12 CFR 1016.1, also making them aware of the violations committed against me were in violation of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The purpose of 12 CFR 1016.1, as disclosed by the congress, governs the treatment of nonpublic personal information about consumers by the financial institutions, that they listed. I also informed all consumer reporting agencies of them violating my privacy, pursuant to The Privacy Act of 1974, 5 USC 552a. Part b of 5 USC 552, states the conditions of disclosure, " No agency shall disclose any record which is contained in a system of records by any means of communication to any person, or to another agency, except pursuant to a written request by, or with the prior written consent of, the individual to whom the record pertains. In accordance with the FCRA, 15 USC 1681 section 602, there is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. XXXX, XXXX and Lexis Nexis, are consumer reporting agencies, and I am the consumer, to whom these consumer reports relate to. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, the XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX Credit Card are all financial institutions as defined in 15 USC 1681 section 604. None of these companies had my permission to disclose my personal nonpublic information, verbal nor written consent was supplied by me to these companies. XXXX, XXXX and Lexis Nexis, and the companies listed above, verbal, non-verbal, written, implied or otherwise is revoked, pursuant to 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ). XXXX, XXXX and Lexis Nexis, are also in violation of 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ), which states no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information, Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years.
