This is a formal notice that your reporting is disputed. If verified, please provide the Method of Verification. I am requesting validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Please note that I am requesting validation ; that is competent evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have ( or ever had ) these items as reported. Please note that a report, a printout, or an employee looking at their computer screen, seeing my name listed in their database is NOT verification or validation of any alleged debt. It is unethical not to mention illegal for you to use my information to update erroneous information provided to you. Asking for additional information is a well-documented tactic of LexisNexis. The public record and my demographic info is what is needed as per other complaints to your company. Please also be aware that any negative mark found on my credit reports ( including XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) from your company or any company that you represent, for this public record, is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ; therefore, if you can not validate the item/items, you must request that all credit reporting agencies delete the entry. Pending the outcome of my investigation of any evidence that you submit, you are instructed to take no action that could be detrimental to any of my credit reports. Failure to respond within 30 days of receipt of this letter is a violation of the FCRA and will result in small claims legal action against your company at my local venue. You will be required to appear in a court venue local to me, to formally defend yourself. For the purposes of 15 USC 1692 et seq., this Notice has the same effect as a dispute to the validity and accuracy of the alleged bankruptcy and a dispute to the validity of your claims. Please do not send me a letter with the contact information of the court they dont report to LexisNexis or any other agency. Since you are reporting this item it is your responsibility to validate all aspects of it. Please Note : This notice is an attempt to correct your records, and any information received from you will be collected as evidence should any further action be necessary. This is a request for information only, and is not a statement, election, or waiver of status.

Consumer Complaint: My insurance company alerted me that my credit score had gone down so they said to look into it, otherwise it could affect the cost of my car and home insurance. Always paying my bills on time including my insurance, a red flag went off, I always a near perfect score. So they got the report from Lexis Nexis and I started with them to find out what was going on. They gave me the report and there was numerous mistakes, including an address that never belonged to me, they even said there was a auto device on my car, recording how I drove. There was no such device on my car so how could anything be recorded. Best part my wife drives that car and it's hardly driven, yet they had a daily record of stoping braking. But the most harmful was a loan and a credit card in default for a long time and it was from a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, NY. XXXX. We never heard of this Credit Union and wondered how it was on my report. I called them up and asked them what this was all about. They could not find anything under my name, or social security # as an account Also I gave them a partial acct. number XXXX XXXX listed on the report and they said there was nothing, they couldn't find a loan or credit card at all. I called back Lexis Nexis and they were supposed to look into it. They sent me some of the things that were removed but nothing on that. So far they haven't done anything about it. Needless to say it also is on XXXX and all the credit report Companies and none of them are removing it from my credit report. I even wrote the head of the credit Union, which they said to write to, and no answer back. Apparently someone used my name to open this account under to get a loan and a credit card, but why am I having on my report and no one knows why. I've argued with everyone to remove it because it is going to hurt everything I try to buy. Please help if you can, I don't know what to do anymore.
