Consumer Complaint: I discontinued service with XXXX in XX/XX/2017. The account was paid, equipment was sent back and the account was closed with a XXXX dollar balance and in good standing. XXXX sent I C Systems ( a collection agency ) an account in my name and claimed I owe them {$440.00}. This is false. I confirmed with XXXX directly that there was no balance owed. The reference number for this interaction is : XXXX. My credit score was severely affected by this. I lost over 50 points of my credit score due to this. I filed a dispute with XXXX and they sent me an email claiming that the debt is valid which tells me that there was not a proper investigation considering the fact that I confirmed there was no balance myself. As of the moment this is being written, the FALSE collections account has still not been removed from my credit report. My husband and I are applying to purchase a home in 3 weeks and due to the negligence of XXXX, and in my opinion, the negligence of XXXX in their investigation, my husband and I may have issues qualifying for a mortgage. I have worked tirelessly to build my credit score and for a false report to destroy it is just unbelievable. I have never missed a payment or even had a late payment. I have done my due diligence. How can a company send a made up balance to collections and ruin a persons credit score under false information and not be help responsible?

Consumer Complaint: I moved and could not receive XXXX-internet service in my new address. I continued with the XXXX XXXX service and discontinued my services with the Internet. However, XXXX-internet services were not canceled and they continued charging it on my XXXX account. I was not aware of these charges until I was reviewing my account. They charged me for approximately 8 months at {$60.00} a month and on top of that also charged my interest and late fees. I have spoken to their representative who continues to tell me that XXXX reimburse me ( false ) and that I had to pay them {$470.00}. This is extremely unfair and unjust, I do not owe them anything and in fact, they awe me for charging me fee for no service. As they continue to state that I owe them money, I was and am still up to date on my XXXX XXXX bill, ( of which was combined with internet service ). In short, I am owed {$480.00} plus all the late fees and misc charges to my account. The representative admitted they owed me money, but that is when they hang up on me. I have called several times and have put on hold and transferred around. This is frustrating, I am attaching my last statement from XXXX XXXX XXXX for account number XXXX

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern I have been having grief with the same companies over and over. I have disputed these debts on numerous occasions and yes they are removed but they are later reinserted, sold to another debt collection agency, with no update on my credit report or proof that I am the owner of these debts from IC Systems. I have made several calls to the original collector XXXX and XXXX XXXX collections and Fraud and no one is able to help me or tell me what this is about. Today they advised this may be fraud and that I should dispute this account. The only account number I have from collections company is XXXX. They are damaging my credit and reputation substantially without any proof of original contract or signatures from me. The disputes are not even showing on my credit reports and I am aware that my reports should reflect that information. Nor have I received updates from my disputes or original time frame or contract from debt instead after the disputes these accounts are re-aging and that is completely illegal. Also following disputes it seems to me that they are reselling the accounts to someone else after showing removed and then opening again. In addition each time these inquiries are placed back on my credit report I have never received a 5 day reinsertion letter and if there is proof of such letter, please also send to my address. IF not this is yet another violation of the FCRA section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( B ) ( ii ), which states you are required to notify me in writing. I am asking for the last time for this agency furnish original contracts and proof and initial contract dates for all collection accounts they are claiming belongs to me. I will take further legal actions if these accounts are not removed. I have exhausted all my efforts with this company and the games they are playing or illegal. Please review all 3 credit reports to see the removals, re-insertions, and re-aging that is continually happening. I am really doing all I can to get my credit at a good standing but this is really impacting my credit. I was at XXXX and have. The account that is showing on my Credit Report is XXXX and thats also a violation because account number should be dislosed. Please resolve this. Thank you

I contacted them on XX/XX/2018 about the XXXX account reference number XXXX for {$230.00} to see why it is still showing on my credit and have not been able to speak with a person that can help me. The initial agent that I got on the phone gave me the above number and extension but I was unable to reach the extension without being disconnected. Consumer Complaint: This company is trying to collect {$97.00} from me for a debt they claim I owe. I have written them several letters since XX/XX/2016 demanding that they comply with the Fair Dept Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act by ( 1 ) providing me a contract or bill with my signature on it as follows : " I am requesting validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Please note that I am requesting validation ; that is competent evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have ( or ever had ) some contractual obligation to pay you. '' They sent me a computer printout of a bill, but nothing with my signature on it. They are in violation of the Fair Dept Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act by claiming I owe money and they have no document bearing my signature wherein I allegedly authorized these charges. They are reporting this fraudulent claim to the credit bureaus as a valid debt, yet they are unable to validate the debt.
