I have been contacted by XXXX XXXX of XXXX, who emailed me on XXXX XXXX that my account with XXXX is now closed with a XXXX balance. She said she sent me a prepaid card for the refund of {$50.00}, which I 've not received. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I emailed XXXX back to ask why she could n't just apply the {$50.00} refund back to my XXXX card. I got an email from XXXX XXXX that said she would be out of the office until XXXX XXXX, and I should communicate with XXXX at XXXX. I forwarded my latest message to XXXX and received an email saying he will be out of the office untilXXXX. Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX, I received in my home mailbox a bill addressed to me from something called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It said their " client '' was willing to accept {$950.00} on a debt I owe of {$2300.00}. It offered " convenient '' ways to pay various amounts via credit card or check. I called the toll-free number on the document. The person said he could not " access ( my ) account '' unless I gave the last four digits of my Social Security number. I refused and suggested to the young man that he seek honorable employment. What happens when these people send bills to some of the many Americans - many of them low-income - who simply pay whatever bills they receive in the mail?. I hope you will prosecute the people responsible for this operation to the fullest extent of the law.

Consumer Complaint: There is a collection account appearing on my credit reports from Convergent Outsourcing. It shows that this is for a XXXX account but I have not used XXXX for any services in over 5 years. Convergent Outsourcing keeps updating the date on my credit report so they can try to show this debt is more recent than it is and avoid my state 's statute of limitation laws in accordance with debt collecting. This is not accurate credit reporting and despite my attempts to dispute this with the credit bureaus, this has not been resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted regarding this debt in XXXX of XXXX, the debt collector spoke with my wife, however I was present. We were informed they received this account in XXXX of XXXX and that it had not been reported on my credit report as of yet. We explained this was incurred due to XXXX our new phone company not paying off our account as we were told they would. It was still suggested we pay on the debt in the meantime to avoid it affecting my credit. We were told since we were making arrangements early on it would keep this off of my credit report. We scheduled the first payment for the end of XXXX XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX as it was stated something would be needed in the month of XXXX to secure the agreement. The first XXXX payment was for XXXX/XXXX/XXXX for {$75.00} and has been paid every two weeks for {$75.00} by automatic withdrawal. So XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX and XXXX/XXXX/XXXX all for {$75.00}. Now imagine my surprise when I pulled my credit report on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and not only seen this account on my report when I was told it would n't be, but also it is reporting late when I have made all scheduled payments as agreed! My wife called in my presence on or around XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and received very rude service. She spoke with two people who both stated that payments had been received and on time, but since they are collecting for XXXX and the XXXX account is not in good standing since it was sent to collections this is why the account has a negative standing. They stated they are reporting the payments, but have no idea how the credit bureau puts out info. My wife said the CB can only report what you tell them, but they insisted it was not their issue to correct and we should call the credit bureau. Of course I understand I am not in good standing with XXXX, but convergent should be reporting the on time payments to convergent that are being made. It is clear to anyone a collection account is a negative thing, but you dont get to report on time payments as late to punish a consumer. Included are bank statements for the dates listed above. Please note the payments listed under XXXX, which also has their phone number listed. Also I have attached email statement notices from Convergent. I can not go all the way back to XXXX as their links expire in 90 days. Also a copy of this item on my report.
