Consumer Complaint: I contacted XXXX after being a customer of 15 years of more that I was entered into a contact without my approval, and tried on several attempts to cancel service without them Billing all those fees with cancelation. And the vendor would refuse to take the phone back within a 24 hour timeframe. I done all I could do to resolved, by giving them their phones back with receipts to one of their authorizes vendors located in XXXX XXXX. They've now reported a negative balance of {$1600.00} on my Credit Report and causing damage.

Consumer Complaint: On the same day, I received two different letters, one from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and one from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, both asserting XXXX XXXX XXXX as a creditor. The Convergent amount was {$620.00} and the XXXX XXXX amount was for {$50.00}. I checked with XXXX. I have no debt. My account is clear. None of the account numbers on the debt collection letters are mine. Both were mailed to an address I moved from 12 years ago, in XX/XX/2006. This is clearly identity theft.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX, account # XXXX is wrongfully attempting to collect a debt I do not owe.THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR, XXXX XXXX, account number XXXX is wrongfully appearing on XXXX, XXXX AND XXXX CREDIT BUREAU REPORTS.I opened the account in XXXX of XXXX.The payments made for this account were for usage and a XXXX XXXX XXXX phone.All payments were made on time as I used auto-pay.At the completion of the contract I was on the phone with a XXXX Rep., settling the account.He tried to sell me a newer phone, a newer XXXX for $ XXXX.I said I wasn't interested, but there was SALES PERSISTENCE. F inally he said we will cancel everything and I will not be charged.I kept the same phone number and transferred it to XXXX XXXX.THIS ENTIRE BILLING IS FRAUDULENT! I owe nothing.

Consumer Complaint: I was once a customer of XXXX XXXX. I was an account holder in XX/XX/XXXX. I switched companies, to XXXX, in XX/XX/XXXX for the XXXX XXXX. Ever since the switch, which was done improperly by agents of the company in XXXX, IL, I have repeatedly received bills from XXXX XXXX in XXXX, WA. The reason I switched companies was because I was doing music on an old XXXX device. The phone fell flat on its face and broke completely in my dorm room. I then switched companies to get an XXXX XXXX because I never had one. I paid XXXX off and told them to switch my service, however, they have continued to follow my activities socially and continue to send me past due collections bills regarding their device. I I paid every single phone I have ever had from XXXX off, but I still receive bills from XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX, I called XXXX, I called XXXX, I called all of them to tell them I don't own the account, but they continue to say I owe XXXX for past due bills that do not exist.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018. I received a debt collection notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, WA XXXX. The total balance shown {$3100.00} for XXXX XXXX. This is a fraudulent account opened in my name. I never have any service or associates with XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2018. I called XXXX 's fraud alert line and reported the fraud concerns, however, the customer service told me that there was an account opened under my name, however, she could not access my information because the account already sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. She said she can not help me and told me to call the debt collection agency instead. Below is the body notice of the notice that sent to me : Dear ( my name ) : This notice is being sent to you by a collection agency. The records of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX show that your account has a past due balance of XXXX Our client has advised us that they are willing to satisfy your account for 35 % of your total balance. The full amount must be received in your office by an agreed upon date. If you are interesting in taking advantage of this opportunity, call our office within 60 days of this letter. Your reduced balance amount would be {$1000.00}. Event if you are unable to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact our office to see that terms can be worked out on your account. Consumer Complaint: I filed this complaint with the FTC # XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX Their response was not relevant. Several months ago I was reported to the credit bureaus by the following company : Creditor Information - XXXX XXXX , XXXX . Prior to this I was not contacted, not even once! It was regarding a disputed bill from XXXX XXXX from years ago. I had received collection agency letters previously but each company dropped the collection attempt after I wrote them back with proof that the bill is an error. I have two compliants : First, XXXX should not be allowed to harass me in perpetuity because they dont want to accept the truth about their bill being an error. Second, it should be illegal for a collection agency to report me without ever contacting me. I wrote them a message and the best they came up with was to call them. Please note, I far prefer email over all other forms of communication, I am XXXX XXXX and unable to converse on the phone. I can access email easily using my eye mouse and will reply to your correspondence promptly. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Company : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . Amount : {$1700.00} Dispute Letter Send Out XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to collect on a debt I Do Not owe. XXXX XXXX, XXXX had sent an account to a debt buyer XXXX XXXX XXXX, I disputed this account immediately with the credit reporting bureaus in XX/XX/2018 as not mine. Around XX/XX/2018 I was notified that XXXX XXXX XXXX had reported on my reports and the original creditor was XXXX. I received a collection letter from Convergent claiming I owed the debt so I requested a Debt Validation to supply me with the original contract with my name on it. XXXX XXXX, XXXX and/ or XXXX XXXX XXXX is ruining my credit and I am simply tired of having them re-selling this fraudulent debt to a third party debt collector. I have NO Knowledge of this debt and have never opened an account with XXXX and they are listing this fraudulent account as mine. I have since filed an Identity Theft report against this fraudulent account against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX with the Federal Trade Commission. Note : An attempt to contact Social Security Service by phone at ( XXXX ) XXXX was made on XX/XX/2018. Call was not answered and a message was left with the answer machine.

Consumer Complaint: I was notified XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Convergent ) on XX/XX/2018 regarding an alleged debt on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( see attached ). At that time, I contacted Convergent via phone and written correspondence ( see attached ) stating that I have reason to believe I am not responsible for the debt that is being attempted to collect. I received a letter back from Convergent dated XX/XX/2018 ( see attached ) stating they are not currently handling the debt. Convergent, also, stated that if any information had been reported, they will request that the information be deleted. I spoke to Convergent on XX/XX/2018. At that time, Convergent stated that they closed the account and sent it back to XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( " XXXX '' ). I pulled my credit report on XX/XX/2018, and it reflected XXXX XXXX as a creditor on behalf of XXXX ( see attached ). The date reflected on the credit report was XX/XX/2018. XXXX XXXX XXXX has the same address as Convergent. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX via certified mail on XX/XX/2018, and I copied XXXX Dispute Resolution and XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( see attached ). In this correspondence, I requested information verifying the debt. I received a correspondence from XXXX dated XX/XX/2018 ( see attached ). In this letter, XXXX states that the account was transferred to XXXX XXXX, and I needed to contact Debt XXXX XXXX XXXX to discuss the account. The number listed on the correspondence is for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I received a correspondence dated XX/XX/2018 from XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( " XXXX '' ) ( see attached ). In this letter, XXXX states they are collecting a debt on behalf of XXXX.
