Consumer Complaint: The DOFD is inaccurate and is a violation of FCRA section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ). The DOFD does not match the OC 's DOFD. The DOFD was in XX/XX/XXXX not in XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX customer service gave me verbal confirmation today that the last payment was received in XX/XX/XXXX. I am attaching an email from XXXX showing when my account was first delinquent and a copy of my CR showing a different date and I believe the debt to be reaged.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed a debt on my credit file for a XXXX XXXX XXXX, and listed with this collections agency CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING , INC . I have never had any services with XXXX XXXX, I work for XXXX XXXX XXXX and I get FREE XXXX and Cellular service so I have no need to pay for either of the services they discussed. I attempted to ask for verification and they never sent me any proof of this debt. After some digging I see they are licensed in the State of New York only the City of XXXX XXXX and I do not even live in the City of XXXX XXXX. I want them to remove this erroneous collection from my credit history it looks like they added this on XX/XX/2019 to all 3 credit agencies.

Consumer Complaint: I sent out a validation letter on XX/XX/XXXX Convergent received the letter XX/XX/XXXX. I have been trying to validate this debt with Convergent Collection Company asking to Validate this XXXX debt account # XXXX they claim is mine. In my Affidavit to Convergent I asked to send me a wet Ink copy of a sign agreement naming XXXX XXXX as the owner of this debt. I also asked Convergent Collection to send me a copy of the Bill of Sale to show they have the right to collect this debt naming XXXX XXXX which gives Convergent the right to collect this Debt. I also stated in my Affidavit that if Convergent has first hand knowledge of this debt they should be able to product these documents. Convergent sent be a copy of a bill with a letter. The FTC states a copy of a bill does not validate a debt. IIn Addition if you do not have a bill of sale naming the person owning this debt you have No Right collecting on this debt. There are some inaccuracies and Red Flag with this debt. Convergent admit some inaccuracies in their letter, but continues to report this debt and damage our abilities to secure a loan. Convergent in their letter stated " their company has not sufficient time to complete an investigation into the inaccuracy and a corrected copy ''. Under the FDCPA they have 30 days to verify this debt again there are some serious red flags with this debt. In closing they have not proved the debt is mine, they have not completed the dispute process in the 30 days. They have admitted to inaccuracies, but continues to report this debt as accurate. Please help!!

Consumer Complaint: Convergent XXXX, a collection agency, is contacting me to try to collect a cell phone debt that they previously accepted a reduced balance over 2 years ago. They tried this tactic last year and when they were told to stop because they accepted a reduced balance, they said they would not contact me again. Now they have called me on my cell phone and sent me a notice, again offered a " reduced balance amount. '' Convergent XXXX clearly does not honor reduced balance offers. They must rely on the fact that the balance was paid so long ago that I do not have document to prove what I paid and the notice they sent.

Consumer Complaint: I received a bonus check from work XX/XX/2013 for {$280.00}. Right after I opened the check I received a phone call from the collection agency stating that they would settle right now with a money order for the amount of {$280.00}. I went to the Bank, cashed the check, went to the Post Office and mailed it to them that same day. It was paid and has not been on my credit report. Since then I have purchased two properties and two vehicles and have a credit score of close to 800. This is ridiculous for this matter that has been paid 5 years ago to come up again after I paid it.
