Consumer Complaint: An account was opened for XXXX XXXX in XXXX of 2016. Immediately after a better deal was obtained from XXXX. XXXX equipment was returned to them and the account closed within two weeks, well within their 30 day no risk guarantee. XXXX has attempted to claim two invoices in the amount of {$200.00} for XXXX and XXXX of 2016 despite their equipment ( set boxes and routers ) being returned and the account closed in the same month, XXXX of 2016. Despite repeated requests for a contractual agreement with a start and end date to validate their claim for this money, they only provide invoices as their validation, which does contractually prove any agreement between myself and XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/19, I received a letter from this debt collector about a bill that is not mine. My wife called the company and gave account number and name of the collection notice and representative for debt collector asked for my last 4 digits of my social and she refused ; stating that she had already verified by supplying account number and name. The representative stated he needed his social security number, he refused to look up account number. I do not owe this debt and believe it is fraud. Consumer Complaint: I received a statement in the mail today, XX/XX/19 from Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. stating that XXXX placed my account with their office for collection. The statement states I owe XXXX {$88.00}. I checked my XXXX account balance and it is XXXX. I contacted XXXX and they stated they did not submit my account to a collection agency and reaffirmed that my balance is XXXX. I did not contact Convergent Outsourcing as I think this is a scam. It says on the back of the statement that I need to notify them within 30 days of receiving this notice in order to dispute the validity of the debt. I'm not sure if I should do that because I think it is a scam. I checked the XXXX XXXX XXXX site and they have had numerous complaints about this company.
