Consumer Complaint: I have now been contacted by five ( 5 ) Collections Company in this regard over the last 2+ years. Without trying to be rude, I HAVE NO DEBT! I do not know why they are contacting me but but I have asked them all to cease immediately. I have no outstanding balance to XXXX and have already supplied them the information for it. I was contacted by XXXX, XXXX on XXXX and disputed it with them and then supplied the following information and they closed it. Then on XXXX, I was contacted by XXXX XXXX and supplied them the same information and they closed it out. Then on XXXX, I was contacted by XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and supplied them the same information via their website and they closed it out. Then on XXXX I responded to XXXX XXXX XXXX via their website with the same information given to the previous three companies. Now I have received another debt collection letter from Convergent again for same debt that I do not owe. I tried to call them today since they do not have online disputes and after talking to Representative, XXXX, and explaining everything, she told me I needed to hold on and then disconnected.the line. I waited and received no call back so I am on the line now for over 30 minutes minutes and finally got XXXX. Now after explaining the story again and asking not to be contacted anymore as this is harassment, she told me she had to get more information and then for 2nd time the line disconnected. I just contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX who has my home phone land line service. They verified no interruptions and the call was dropped on Convergent 's end. I have all the previous letters and am not wasting my time going back over the same information I have with the previous four ( 4 ) collections companies when they are the fifth company pursuing a false claim. The mistake was on XXXX 's part and not mine. They acknowledged this in 2017 when I escalated it to a manager and was told then I had no debt and did not own anything because I was not under contract and had not been for many many years ... .. This is harassment on both you and XXXX part by continuing this as I have proven my " No Debt '' on four ( 4 ) previous occasions. I have told them all if they contact me again or pursue any further actions based on this false issue it will be handled by every legal step available to me by law and venue. Regardless of this, they ( XXXX ) just sends another company. Please help me end this or tell me the legal avenue to pursue. It has to stop. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: My account from XXXX for approximately {$200.00} went into delinquency around XX/XX/XXXX and ( I believe ) into collections around XX/XX/XXXX. I paid XXXX XXXX, XXXX {$110.00} as an agreed settlement back in XX/XX/XXXX. However, they have reported back onto my credit reports as a new collection as of XX/XX/XXXX. I need them to remove this from my credit reports as this was paid, as mentioned above, on XX/XX/XXXX. This is reporting as a new collection, which is affecting my score. Again, it is imperative that the company remove this reporting.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to provide a complaint that was created on my credit file on behalf of XXXX XXXX, regarding Account Number : XXXX. The item identified is inaccurate/incomplete because 1 ) I never received any mailing notification that of owing any monies to this creditor and therefore not responsible for this debt and should have not been reported in my credit file, 2 ) This account was purposely re-aged by XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX I noticed this debt had been placed on my credit report as having an opened date of XX/XX/2019 with status update past due as of XX/XX/2019. XXXX XXXX re-aged this account to appear as a new debt rather then owned by a new creditor. Below is summary of letter sent to creditor On XX/XX/XXXX : I noticed this debt had been placed on my credit report. I am disputing the above referenced debt. Please verify this debt as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices ( FDCPA ) ( section 1692g ) and Floridas Consumer Collection Practices Act ( FCCPA ) whose provisions require all debt collectors to send specific written documentation verifying the debt amongst other statutory provisions. Under section 559 of the Rules/Definitions of the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, verification requires all the following : Proof of my agreement to pay the original creditor A copy of the final account statement issued by the original creditor ; A breakdown of the total amount due, showing principal, interest, and other charges ; and For all other charges, the date of and the basis for each charge. Provide proof that the State of Limitations has not expired on the alleged debt, or ; Provide proof that the alleged debt/account has not be re-aged as a result of unscrupulous practices I dispute this charge because I do not recognize this debt and I do not owe any money to this creditor.Because I am disputing this debt, you should not report it to the credit reporting agencies. If you have already reported it, please notify the credit reporting agencies that the debt is disputed and/or delete the trade line from my credit report. Reporting information that you know to be inaccurate, or failing to report information correctly, violates the FDPCA and their Fair Credit Reporting Act.
