Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX am in a position to file for a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy. However, as a means of pursuing a reasonable procedure to get out of debt over the next year without such a drastic step, I am requesting very low settlements in the 20 % range of where my debts were at the last payment. Accordingly, I believe that I only have one chance at this, and if I do not start receiving settlement offers soon, I will retain the bankruptcy attorney I recently consulted. Therefore, I request letters of settlement, and I request the cease and desist from all calls to my home, cell and/or work. I desire to resolve these matters in written form only. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/2019 Convergent Outsourcing Inc contacted my father about an alleged debt with XXXX XXXX. They told my father details about this debt including amount owed. I never gave Convergent permission to speak about this debt to anyone. My FDCPA rights have been violated. I previously had written to them to verify this debt before this occurrence. I still have not received this verification. When I spoke to them on XX/XX/19 I also verbally told them that I would like this debt verified and last time I spoke to somebody about this debt I had also asked them to verify it.

Consumer Complaint: At the end of XX/XX/XXXX, around XX/XX/XXXX, I received a bill from XXXX XXXX for {$140.00}. My usual bill was {$55.00}. I called on XX/XX/XXXX to find out what was going on. They informed me that my bill went up as an introductory offer ended. At that time, I had already paid my usual portion of the bill. Unable to come to any agreement with a new price, I cancelled service. XXXX XXXX told me to wait until I received a box from them and then mail equipment back ( which I did ). I waited until the end of XX/XX/XXXXto receive a final bill. I paid the remainder of the triple bill as well as the first week of XX/XX/XXXX ( check XXXX for {$100.00} ). XXXX XXXX is reporting that I need to pay for the entire month of XX/XX/XXXX, even though service was terminated on XX/XX/XXXX and equipment returned the following week. They have turned the bill over to a collection agency " Convergent '' who is calling up to 5 times a day at all hours. They have told me if I don't pay they will be sending police to my house to arrest me. They have called at XXXX in the XXXX ( waking up everyone in the house ). I have tried to talk to XXXX XXXX but their response was " this is our policy. You have to pay. There is nothing I can do ''.

Consumer Complaint: My service for XXXX XXXX was cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX. I had been a customer with 100 % on time payments since XXXX. My final bill was paid through XX/XX/XXXX. I understood that there was a termination fee given I was XXXX days short of an equipment contract. I opened a dispute with my credit card company on XX/XX/XXXX for {$70.00} detailing the above. XXXX never disputed my claim. In a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX from Convergent Outsourcing I was informed that they were hired to collect a debt of {$150.00}. I responded to this with a certified letter requesting documentation of the amount due and copied XXXX as well. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid what I thought was my final payment to XXXX for {$88.00} for the early termination ( which also seemed incorrect. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice of debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$70.00}. I requested the same information from them and still no response. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I was alerted to a negative credit item on my XXXX credit report. I disputed it, sending all the documentation I have described. They closed it saying updated but no changes or explanation was made.

Consumer Complaint: Convergent outsourcing has failed several times to validate my debt. They illegally report to a credit bureau without any proof. I have sent multiple validation letters and received nothing back. I have proof of every letter sent with nothing being returned. When I file a complaint they say the debt was with another company that they are representing. I have not seen any proof. Show me a legal validated response. Show me my signature saying I owe. Show me how I came to the number I originally owed. Show me a contract I signed. You can sit here and give your false statements all you want but you have no proof. I want to see proof. FCRA has laws in which you need to abide. Show me a contact with my signature on it and if you cant then it needs to be deleted.
