Subissue: You told them to stop contacting you, but they keep trying
Consumer Complaint: Convergent has called upwards of 30 times since XX/XX/2019. They are looking for someone named XXXX. There is no one at my business address named XXXX and the phone number belongs to an account with the name XXXX. Each time I have answered I have told them there is no one here by that name and they need to stop calling while removing the number from their list. They have not. I filed a complaint with the FTC on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( FTC Report Number XXXX ). Since then they have called and been told the complaint was filed. Despite this they have called twice more, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX and XXXX XXXX at XXXX, and been told again not to call.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: This company has failed to provide me with a copy of any viable evidence, bearing my signature, showing the account is being reported accurately. Furthermore the name on the statement along with the address is inaccurate. Upon contacting the original creditor they was able to pull up an account with the name used on the statement which they claim is validation. She told me the account was closed in XXXX. However they have it reported on XX/XX/XXXX? Seems to be to me they are attempting to re-age an old debt. Not only that, but the amount they have reported is {$870.00} and the amount they have on the statement they sent me is {$870.00} I know this information has to match exactly. I am making a final goodwill attempt to have them clear up this matter. The listed item is entirely inaccurate and incomplete, and represents a very serious error in theyre reporting. I have attached my birth certificate as well as my drivers license. I have also included what I sent them, when they signed for it and what they sent in response to this invalid account on my credit.
