Consumer Complaint: In 2016, I received a bill for {$1400.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called them because the notice said, " I was going to be disconnected. '' I spoke to representative they gave me an address of XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, Texas XXXX. It was a commercial business named XXXX 's XXXX. I was not successful on speaking to anyone there. So I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and explained to them that it was not me who used this energy & that my residence at the time was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, Texas XXXX. They informed me they couldn't do anything about it and that If I didn't pay I would get disconnected. The disconnection came because I could not pay that large amount out of nowhere and ended up having to use a prepaid light company until I paid a deposit for XXXX XXXX in which they allowed me to split my deposit payment and get regular service. This was a Identity theft. I did once go to a police station by XXXX XXXX near my place of business. I was told that I couldn't file it there and given some info sheet. Nothing has been resolved. I have disputed it many times and it has been placed on my credit report regardless. Plus, they have placed it in collections and recently managed to report it as a late payment. I don't know how this is possible since the damage has been done by placing it in collections but still reporting it as late how is it that possible. It's like knowing they won and still kicking me by reporting it late, changing the dates of the " supposed incident '' allowing it to extent and start over, placing it in collections & as much as I dispute I'm being fed to the dogs and no consideration of what this is doing to my credit that affects my life in general.

Consumer Complaint: My bill for internet service had been steadily increasing with XXXX annually. It reached a point where what started as a {$40.00} service was now being billed at $ XXXX. I had called XXXX and spoken to an agent to see if they had a better deal OR if they cancel my service so I can signup with XXXX. I spoke to an agent on XX/XX/2019. The end of my billing cycle is XX/XX/XXXX. I had asked that she put in a request to submit my request for the end of the billing cycle. She then clarified that if I picked a date before the billing cycle, that they would pro-rate the amount for the days the service was provided. Consequently, I moved the cancelation date to XX/XX/XXXX and signed up for a new service for XX/XX/XXXX. She re-confirmed that they would pro-rate me back the amount for remaining XXXX. PS - I have this in a recording that I would be happy to share as proof of agreement. The bill didnot reflect our conversation. After speaking with customer service numerous times, they said that their agent was mistaken and that I would still have to pay for the service even though it was cancelled by XX/XX/XXXX. They only thing remedy they offered me was that they would train their agent. This wasn't an acceptable course of action as it was an error on XXXX 's part. They refused to rectify it and threatened to send me to collections. When they sent me to collections - I requested to dispute it but I didn't get an information from them to be able to do so. I know see that it is unfairly on my credit report and I would like to rectify it.

Consumer Complaint: I did a Settlement in the amount of {$280.00} with Convergent Outsourcing Inc. account number XXXX on a XXXX XXXX account number XXXX on XX/XX/2020. The agent documented the account notes of the Settlement because every agent Ive spoken with requesting the Settlement In Full letter has specified it. XXXX XXXX negotiated the settlement and took my payment. Since this time Ive spoken with XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. I was advised the account would be dated to reflect Settlement In Full / Closed as of XX/XX/XXXX and I would be able to access this letter online. As of today the account is still reflecting derogatory on my credit as a Collections Account with a remaining balance. I spoke with XXXX previously and notified them this account wasnt my account, however Im in the process of trying to purchase a home and was advised I cant have any open collection accounts on my credit. Therefore I reached out to the agency to Settle the account to move the process along.

Consumer Complaint: This collection company is lying that they contacted me via mail. I have never received anything from them. If I did i would definitely reach out to resolve the debt as I am in the process of trying to buy a home. They use this tactic of reporting to bureau before contacting you as they know they will definitely get your attention and response quickly. I will attach a bill from XXXX, now that I know who this debt collection is from and it will show that they did not have this debt in their possession back in XXXX as they stated. I was still receiving a bill from XXXX. As I stated above this debt collection did not contact me!

Consumer Complaint: This company is falsely reporting a debt on my credit that I do not owe. I requested a signed contract to show proof the debt belonged to me, however I was not sent any information. I even sent dispute letters to the credit bureaus, but they are stalling the dispute process because they do not have any proof it belongs to me. Neither XXXX or XXXX is able to verify this information. Convergent does not have any documentation or signed contract, therefore they are reporting false information which is illegal. I need this information to be removed immediately. I will be filing a complaint with the XXXX and XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have been dealing with XXXX XXXX for several months now on this issue of early termination fee. I originally had a balance of {$360.00} with them in XXXX of which I paid XXXX to in XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a payment of {$100.00} and again they said that was fine and no we will not send to collections due to the COVID and they were told it should be paid off at the end of the month of XXXX if not sooner since I am working again. They sent my debt to collections even after 2 managers and a fraud specialist reassured me they would not. The day they sent it to collections according to XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX. The debt reported was XXXX in which that is also false. It is only {$200.00}. Please can you help me with how I should proceed. The company has deceived me entirely on this matter and was less then helpful. When I call the collection company nobody answers. CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING ( XXXX XXXX XXXX.
