Consumer Complaint: Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received yet another phone call from this company Convergent Outsourcing. They are looking for a XXXX XXXX. When the phone calls started happening XX/XX/XXXX, I told them that XXXX XXXX does not have this phone number and has not had this phone number for quite some time as I have had this phone number for over a year. I do not know a XXXX XXXX, told them that and to take my number off of their list. They said they would remove my number from their list. According to my phone logs, I have received a call from them XXXX ( twice ) ; XXXX ; XXXX ; XXXX ; XXXX ; XXXX ; XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; and again today XX/XX/XXXX. Today, I told them again what I told them at the beginning of the month - XXXX XXXX does not have this number and to take this number off of their list. Further, I am on the Do Not Call list and do not have an established business relationship with them so there is absolutely no reason for them to call me. It's a huge problem because if I am on another call when that number calls me, it hangs up on the other person and I have already told this uninvited number to stop calling me. It has become a form of harassment.

Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In the event you can not provide strict proof of contract, you must cease and desist any and all collection efforts and immediately remove any derogatory information reported to the consumer reporting agencies. In addition, you will need to provide me your agreement, in writing, that you are closing your file, ceasing collecting activity, and deleting all information related to this reference number from any and all credit reports youve furnished the information to. In the event you transfer this account to an attorney without providing proof of contract, and proving your claim, he/she will be immediate reported to the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX for code of ethics violations.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. added a derogatory mark on m credit report per XXXX XXXX and XXXX. Upon further research, this account was transferred/sold and I am no longer responsible for the account. Certified debt validation letters were sent to Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. on XX/XX/2020 and again on XX/XX/2020. Both times the company sent me a letter saying the debt is valid and attached a bill with no signature or contract as verification. A bill with no signature or contract does not verify/validate this account/collection. Also, there was no written form of communication, contract, or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt and anybody can send a bill saying it's mine. I have no knowledge of this account/collection and it does not belong to me. According to FCRA, Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. has violated my rights as a consumer and I'm requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I have received at least half a dozen letters and phone calls trying to collect on a supposed debt to XXXX. I currently have an account with XXXX but it is in good standing. I called to confirm this with XXXX. The collection company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX says it is an older debt from a couple of years ago but I haven't had an account with XXXX since the XXXX 's, which was also in good standing when it was shutdown. I have repeatedly told Convergent that I do not owe the debt to XXXX, XXXX has confirmed to me that I do not owe them a debt. I've told Convergent this as well. I told them to stop contacting me and they should verify the debt with XXXX and they have refused to do both.
