Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In the event you can not provide strict proof of contract, you must cease and desist any and all collection efforts and immediately remove any derogatory information reported to the consumer reporting agencies. In addition, you will need to provide me your agreement, in writing, that you are closing your file, ceasing collecting activity, and deleting all information related to this reference number from any and all credit reports youve furnished the information to. In the event you transfer this account to an attorney without providing proof of contract, and proving your claim, he/she will be immediate reported to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX for code of ethics violations.

Consumer Complaint: I was charged many years ago for a phone that I never owned. Someone had purchased it on my account and I was never informed. Years later I get told I have a debt that I disputed and was told would be removed. Now I still had the same debt, so I had to use my savings to pay the debt off and now they will not delete it from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: We Defaulted on our car lease payment in 2018 because the XXXX dealership we leased the vehicle from went out of business. so we called that particular location for a few months but couldn't get a whole of anyone. we were finally able to reach a customer service representative at another location that told us to turn the vehicle in since it was been repossess for the delay in payment which we did. the lease was in both my name and my wife 's. This particular account started reporting on both our credit reports as derogatory. but this account from the get go has always reported inaccurately on my reports XXXX XXXX and XXXX had wrong information on their separate platforms about this account and every time i disputed the errors and demanded that the account been removed from my credit report for been inaccurate the particular error will be fixed but the account will remain. Even though this account was written off as bad debt for the full amount of the vehicul in question after we had made more than half of the aforementioned amount before turning the car in we had a certain Convergent Outsourcing, Inc contact us in an effort to collect the debt. And at this same time this XXXX-XXXX XXXX went ahead and reported fraudulently on our credit report new payment that we never made and my guest is that they did this to move the status of limitations on this account ahead to the can fraudulently still take our money. Please help us fight this fraud

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX This is concerning a time-barred-debt from the year XXXX. Multiple collection agencies have harassed me from XXXX to current XXXX. Please see attached correspondence each time I have filed with the CFPB. Now for the second time Convergent has been calling me and leaving me messages in the months of XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, leaving me partial recorded messages with a number to call. I have refused this time to call them. Today, XX/XX/XXXX I received yet another letter attempting to collect on the same time-barred-debt as they did last XXXX XXXX. Please see their attached response ( Adobe doc ) telling me they are not handling the account after I informed them at that time it was time-barred. They were working for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at that time. Now Convergent is representing XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The names change but the Time-barred-Debt does not. In fact its older now than it was five years ago when this circus started. I have attached every correspondence I can from XXXX through now XXXX including last years correspondence when 3 companies were trying to collect from me simultaneously. I want the calls and letters to STOP regardless of the whos who of the latest flavor of collection agency of the week!

Once I was done, my visit was {$1500.00} dollars. I called the insurance company and they indicated they should have received a pre authorized call and never got one from the XXXX XXXX center for woman. I made a complaint against the Doctors failed efforts to inform me of the XXXX she took and the switch and bait the office pulled on me. I feel they took advantage of the insurance opportunity that it was being being by the XXXX donor. I feel i was mistreated, violated and now stuck with a bill that should not have occurred affecting my credit report. I told then that they had to follow up with my insurance but they would not listen let alone understand that I would not have agreed to a treatment without my insurance being aware of knowingly that a PRE-Authorized agreement would need given to me, the insurance company and the Dr 's office billing dept.
