Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I viewed my credit report and saw company XXXX XXXX had filed a adverse action under my name stating i hadn't paid a bill. I never had an account with XXXX XXXX and I never lived in the state at the time specified. XXXX XXXX assigned {$1400.00} to a collection agency Convergent Outsourcing Inc . I reached out to Convergent Outsourcing Inc and have been getting the run around to no avail. I have requested Convergent Outsourcing Inc to remove that adverse action and they refused sending me documentation with my name ( misspelled incorrectly ) and a address I never lived XXXX. I am requesting to have it removed immediately.

Consumer Complaint: CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING has placed derogatory marks on my credit report in attempting to collect a debt that is not valid, on behalf of XXXX XXXX. Documents attached will show that on XX/XX/XXXX I began to communicate with XXXX XXXX regarding incorrect statements made to me in securing my business, and incorrect billing that began immediately thereafter. And over the remainder of my business with XXXX into early XXXX, I continued to contact XXXX XXXX while being swapped from rep to rep, put on hold, told I would be called back without any response. Documented is another call in XX/XX/XXXX where I again attempted to reach a resolution with XXXX regarding the billing but was left waiting for a call from a manager to reach a resolution. All of this time they were offering to give me a credit when I pushed for the bill to be corrected but never would adjust the actual bill. And I do not believe I owe any monies to XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have been receiving calls regarding a {$530.00} debt with XXXX XXXX, the only debt I have ever had with XXXX XXXX was paid off long ago and the total amount does not match the previous debt. They gave me a time limited offer to allow me to satisfy said account for 35 % of that total. I called them today XX/XX/20 to see if they could verify the debt and would not do so without my original account number and social security number. This debt is not on my credit report and I do not and have not had a XXXX XXXX account in over 10 years. I did not give them any information as they were unable to verify the debt 's legitimacy.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX stated I had renewed a contract and terminated early. I did not renew any contract because I did not want to upgrade my phones since I'd be switching to XXXX, who was my employer. I have asked XXXX repeatedly for the signed contract but they said they don't have it. Instead they sent me a copy of the bill. Convergent Outsourcing stated XXXX did not give them proof of signed contract, they too only have a bill.

Consumer Complaint: I just received a bill from the XXXX XXXX XXXX represented by Convergent Outsourcing for the amount of {$23000.00}. Account # XXXX. It has been 13 years, this loan is from XXXX, and just now they send me this bill, and tell me that they are going to sued me in court. California Statue of Limitations is 4 years.Right? ( Cal.Civ.Proc.Code 312 et seq. ) I file Bankruptcy in XXXX, and this account from the XXXX XXXX was NOT in any of my credit report agency. Today I check my credit report, I don't have any debt account with the XXXX XXXX XXXX or Convergent Outsourcing. If I own {$23000.00} it should appear in all my credit report agencies, correct? Why they don't report this debt to the Credit Agencies? By doing this they avoid getting bankruptcy?

Consumer Complaint: I've recently been in contact with the credit bureaus over the past couple of months due to accounts appearing on my credit report that I never opened or received any goods or services on behalf of. Even though this has been a ongoing dispute I've noticed yet another clear violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act being permitted by Convergent Outsourcing whom has violated section 1692e 8 ( Communicating or threatening to communicate to any person credit information which is known or which should be known to be false, including the failure to communicate that a disputed debt is disputed ) Convergent Outsourcing has failed to mark this debt or account has disputed which is automatic grounds for removal of this account from credit report. I will included supporting documentation along with this claim.
