I settled this as outstanding amount about 4-5 years ago with this company that is trying to recharge me again ( Convergent is the company ) Im not paying them a dime when I have all the evidence I need I paid this amount and Its cleared. This company should be closed for good trying to steal peoples hard working money!

Consumer Complaint: My personal information was given to this 3rd party entity CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING, INC. that I do not even know or have never had any consumer transactions with them. I received written correspondence from CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING, INC. on XX/XX/2021. They are contacting me about an alleged debt that they say I owe. I have already sent written correspondence about this matter. I feel as if I have been violated which is not a good feeling. Just imagine someone taking something from you without your consent. What would you call that? How would you feel? What would you do? You would probably be doing what I am doing and more. I am so sick and tired of being taking advantage of. Especially when someone is willfully and knowingly taking advantage of me. Enough is Enough.

Consumer Complaint: I checked my credit profile through XXXX and convergent outsourcing collection agency has added a derogatory mark on my credit report. Upon further research, it appears that this account was transferred or sold and I am no longer responsible for the account. Debtors creditors did not verify this collection. Also, I have not received no written form of communication, contract, or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt and anyone can send a bill and state that the debt is mine. According to the FCRA, Covergent Outsourcing has violated my rights as a consumer and Im requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I orginally disputed this collection from my credit report which has this debt under XXXX, no where on any of my credit reports show that this company, CONVERGENT has ever attempted to collect a debt. also, I have never received a letter from this company with regards to any debt. They have violated my rights and I want this removed from my credit. Lastly, a bill is not a validation of debt which is what they provided me and the account number on the bill doesn't match the account number on the credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Hello- Received a letter from Convergent XXXX stating I owed {$720.00} but they would settle for {$250.00}. I called and they wanted my social security # which I am not willing to give out, they would not tell me what the debt was for and this is not on my credit report. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and emailed the company on XX/XX/XXXXwith no response. The email was sent to them through their website : XXXX. I believe this is a fraudulent company and looked them up online and saw many other complaints. I do not want them contacting me again and hope to help others that may be taken advantage of by these frauds. Thank you-XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: 3 days ago, I received a notice from a debt collector, Convergent Outsourcing , Inc., XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX , WA XXXX. The creditor is : XXXX XXXX - Client Account # :XXXX - Convergent Account # XXXX. The notice states that I owe XXXX XXXX {$850.00}. I had NEVER heard of XXXX XXXX before I received this notice, nor have I EVER done business with them. I called Convergent who told me to call XXXX, which I did. I called XXXX Customer Service, XXXX, who told me to call the Fraud Dept. I tried to call XXXX Fraud Dept. ( 2 different times, 2 different phone # 's, XXXX and XXXX, that were provided ). I was on hold for 2 hours one day, 1 hour the second. A person never came on the phone. I called Convergent. They are putting this into a Fraud File. Yesterday, XX/XX/17, I called XXXX Customer Center. They had no record of my SS #, and asked me to bring the letter to the branch. I've lived in Oklahoma 20+ years. There are no XXXX XXXX here. She then hung up on me. This bank is very poorly run, and is NO, absolutely NO customer service. They need to be investigated. They, out of blue, declare that a person owes " X '' amount of dollars, yet refuse to speak to the person they are attempting to fraud. I would appreciate it if you would look into this for me.

Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing is reporting an erroneous debt on my credit file. I recently checked my credit and noticed this debt was reporting. I immediately called and settled this debt. I however, never received any calls, notices, or letters from Convergent Outsourcing about this debt. This violates my 30 day right to dispute under the FCRA. This must be removed immediately as you violated my rights. I am also aware that while this account is under review you lawfully can not report this on my credit until your investigation is over. If your office continues to report invalidated information to any of the three credit bureaus this action might constitute fraud under both federal and state laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found or continues to report on my credit report by your company I will not hesitate to complain to the Attorney General for the following : Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act & Defamation of character. During this period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with legal counsel for suite . All references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.
